A doodle of grownup Gin, because you know, that's a thing now. XD Gin doesn't technically age, but I still have this older version of him that I like to draw from time to time. We'll just call him... alternate universe Gin or something. lol! Drew this mostly because I'd never done a full body image of his adult form. And I did grey values because one of my school paintings was making me sick of color. XD Went a little more "comic booky" on the shading route, but I liked it, so I kept it.

Do your characters only exist in your imagination, or will they ever show up in a comic or something? They seem so full of life and personality... Seems a shame not to weave them into some sort of narrative.

Well, some of them are a part of actual stories, but it's more geared along the lines of a novels/film type stories rather than comics. I'm going into film hopefully, but I also do books and the like. I've considered doing a webcomic in the past, but I just don't get a lot of joy out of doing comic panels, so it just never sounds like a format that I'd be happy working in. :/

I like your solid grayscale colors. Very clean and stylish. I defiantly think you have a very good talent for a 'comic book' shading. However I understand why you wouldn't normally like it as people tend to undermine anything related to basic DC or Marvel comic book style as... uh... less artsy....
But very good as always! Great job! Especially with those itsy bitsy little details like the stitching on the pants

Thank you! ^^ And I don't really have a problem with comic book style art (if it's done well) I just don't get a lot of joy out of doing comic panels and the like. But I do like to do it from time to time. It's like how occasionally I like to animate, but not too often because it's a pain in the butt. XD
