You may remember the Fast Forward design I made for Nova a while back (here )This is a chibi I did - I really concentrated on practcing on the glow seen on her computer devices. I actually got a plot bunny for FF-Nova (of course
)I'm EXTREMELY proud of her hair. Nother special about it, I just really like how it turned out. I think I may use it more often. Her head is extremely huge, but oh, well... *pokes her*

The way you get things to glow is you color what you want to glow white and put it in a new layer above the others. Then you go around the edges with a soft brush about 10-15 in size and have oppacity low (usually 40 and lower). To get a certain affect on areas that are usually shiny like hair it easier to use 'overlay' mode for those areas, too.

When I opened up Photoshop I chose 'transparent' for the background instead of 'white'
