Description
Like earlier: [link]More adapted characters for this "New Mutant Project" I've been working on. Except this time instead of only being from one other series (Archie Comics) I placed several.
-Mona Lisa from OT verse has been done over and over again, I am fully aware, but I feel she is too popular to the fandom to be overlooked. I had difficulty developing her more but she does play a vital role into the series. Also, I like Raphers-tension >83 Mona or Ninjara? Hmmm
-Mei Pei Chi from TMNT:NM has been done a few times as well, but I am hoping to investigate more of a Chinese background for her - one of my beefs with her character (of MANY beefs) is the complete destruction of her hertiage she has basically overnight. She just leaves everything she has ever known for a culture she doesn't understand and seems unphased. Ugh.
-Pimiko from Image comics TMNT Vol. 3. I thought it was an intriguing series to say the least and Pimiko is KICK BUTT. I love having a villainous villainess. And someone needs to show Karai how things are REALLY ran. You all are going "What the shell? How could Ch'rell/Shredder have a human daughter!?" And I promise you it will make more sense in the series. She's a vital character.
Pimiko (c) Image Comics
TMNT, Mona Lisa (c) Mirage
Venus/Mei Pei Chi (c) Saban

Haha, well, this isn't exactly a final design for her bud I really did think that her comic outfit sometimes looked strikingly similar to Ivy Valentine from Soulcalibur. Too much for my tastes and a bit counter-productive for a female ninja with aspirations to rule with an iron fist like her father XP

...so you made her into Taki?
She really was a pastiche of the Marvel ninja chicks such as Psylocke and Elektra (you know, like this whole The Hand/Foot Clan thing).

Yes, I'm somewhat brushed up on my fandom
I do realize that, but this "Adaptations" series is based on "what if" I took some of the lesser known characters and inserted them into the 2k3 cartoon universe. Since that universe was for kids I decided to drop the somewhat more risky parts of the characters from the comic universe - which is for adults - while sharpening the image of some of the Old Toon and various other characters who were for too young of an age group. I'm just doing it for fun and did not see 4Kids letting Pimiko, even for satirical reasons, have a pass.

oooh, nice, I feel my favorite on here would have to be Pimiko, even though...I really have to catch up on my TMNT, seeing as how Mona Lisa is the only one familiar to me here

Pimiko is my favorite of this series as well. She is a very interesting character and doesn't really get any recognition in the fandom, me thinks. I highly suggest researching her some

wonder why she wasn't in the 2K3 series I would have love to see her even though I just found out about her 5 mins. ago lol. If your not to busy could you maybe tell me who she is? I feel bad to call myself a TMNT fan and not know one of the villans.

I'd say she wasn't in the 2k3 season because of ownership issues between Mirage and Image which owned the comic copyrights at the time she was introduced. Same for why Kraang, Beebop, Rocksteady, and other characters associated with the Old Toon aren't featured other than harmless and rather meaningless cameos.
And I'd love to spread the info about some of the more miscellaneous characters of the fandom
Pimiko was introduced in Volume Three of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comics by creators Kevin Eastmen and Peter Laird. At this time in the late 1990s there was a movement among comic book artists to band together and create a company still known today as Image comics. In this time the Ninja Turtles joined up for their Volume Three comics.
In this volume Pimiko, the Shredder's daughter from Japan, has returned to take control of the Foot's New York sector as well as get some revenge for the death of her father who was killed early on in Volume One and then again later on in the same volume. While actually a parody of femme fatale in main comics such as Marvel's Elektra, Pimiko grew on me as one of the few strong female characters in the Ninja Turtle universes.
During her reign over the Foot, however, Pimiko is betrayed by her right hand man, Tao, and subsequently loses both her standing in the New York Foot Clan as well as the comics as a whole. Be that as it may, I really enjoyed her presence and wanted to see how I could make her appear in the 2k3 series
Hope that helped!

I feel bad because the only character I know on here is Mona. 8DD
I fail.
But they all look epic. I especially love how Pimiko's stance came out. >;D
