Here's my WoF sona Stardust, a RainWing/NightWing hybrid. I feel like it's been a while since I posted any art of her...I also updated and added to her jewelry, because I love sparkly things and I felt like it XD

I'm also going to use this as an opportunity to share something personal, so you can stop reading now if you want.

It feels stupid to still be thinking about this when it feels like the entire world is on fire right now, but my boyfriend broke up with me just a couple months ago. He was the first guy I've ever dated, and I was with him for over a year. I will admit the breakup was rough at first, but my friends have told me I coped quite well and I truly am doing a lot better now.

I considered posting vent art when it first happened, but I elected not to. I've also left art I made of us up until this point, although I will probably be taking some of it down now that I can think more clearly about what's actually worth keeping. I have permission from my ex to leave art up if I want, so I think I will leave some pieces up as a testament to the progress I've made and also because I don't like the idea of erasing parts of my story. Plus it was a relatively amicable split, so it's not like it bothers me to still see stuff in my gallery.

So yeah. That's what's been happening in my life. I just wanted to eventually have art to express it, and I think this works perfectly for where I'm at now. I'm moving on, slowly but surely. And as a Christian, God has also used this to help me grow spiritually. This is going to sound super cheesy, but I swear I heard him the night after it happened: "I will never leave you or forsake you."

Breakups suck. Quarantine sucks. Life in general tends to suck. But I know that no matter what happens, I will be okay. <3
