Description So here's just a back view of my costume, Kaida the Charizard Pokemorph.

So I'll be putting only a few pictures up here on DA but if you'd like to take a look at all the WIP pictures from start to finish, check out my photobucket album here: [link]
Check out my YouTube videos to see it in action: [link]

Ah yes! My wings stay up now because I went to home depot and bought some thick and strong copper wire that's still pretty bendable. I didn't take very good pictures of this WIP stage because my dad's camera screen died and I couldn't see what I was photographing. But yeah, the wire is one continuous piece: it runs along the top of one wing, goes straight down my back when it reaches the shoulder, and lays across my lower back, and obviously then it's symmetrical on the other side. Then it's all attached to a cardboard backpack with elastic straps. Ta-da! I finally got the darn thing back from the art show yesterday so I'll be recording that video now too :3

They are connected to a backpack I made out of cardboard and elastic straps. I simply hot-glued the wire to the cardboard. Here's a picture from my photobucket album that shows it: [link] [link]

The thick copper wire runs on the edges and across the bottom in one continuous piece.
