Well, here we are with my second pic since coming back. Here we have a Ron Stoppable pic, loosely based on a scene in my fanfic, "Home(s) Away from Home".Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that is the Lotus Blade in Ron's hand. What you're seeing is what happens when he wields it while firing up his Mystical Monkey Power. Instead of randomly morphing into different forms, the blade turns black and bursts into blue flame. Of course, what I showed Ron doing with it in my fic was really nothing more than a little taste. I really need to write a fic where he uses it again and does some more cool stuff with it.
Anyway, hope everyone likes this one. All in all, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out, as it looks pretty much like how I pictured it in my head. Here's hoping everyone else feels the same way about it.

Well, that's a pretty good gist. We'd still need a reason for Kim and Ron to actually go to the school, though. We could think of something like they're trying to track the PVI, but the signal for the PVI is still in sync with the Fenton Portal and the signals they're following are actually coming from Danny and Sam (and possibly Tucker, Valerie and Jazz, since they've all interacted with the portal).
I don't know how shocked Sam would be in Kim being interested in Ron. In her mind, that's the kind of thing that should IDEALLY happen. Unless you want to play it like that Simpsons episode where Homer gets brainwashed by some hippie environmentalists and ends up not wanting to drink and only wanting to eat salads.

BART: I don't know. Because you're incapable of experiencing pleasure?

Well, the reason I thought of Kim and Ron passing Casper High was they were just walking around Amity Park trying to raise a signal on the Kimmunicator and they just happened to go by it. Nothing wrong with things being coincidental. You do raise a good point about Sam not being shocked that someone like Kim is into someone like Ron, though she should still be interested in her and say she wished there were other people like Kim.

Well, I think they'd definitely be curious about who these two newcomers are...especially after seeing what Ron does to Dash (it wouldn't be anything extreme, but it would be an impressive show of strength).

If KP would cross with anything else after DP it could at least be Jake Long: American Dragon.
PVD means a fight between Danny and Kim correct. That would involve Kim's battle-suit. No offense to Kim but without it it's like Batman vs Superman (without that Kryptonite he carries around) she would NOT stand a chance.

Well, hope you enjoy that one. Truthfully, I've never been a huge Jake Long fan (felt like too much of a DP ripoff for my taste). But a friend wanted to see it written and I already had a couple of scenes dancing around in my head for the hell of it. So I figured, why not?

It was alot like DP, but still a pretty good show.
The Dark Dragon is an AWESOME villain, he looks so cool with one of the ultimate bad guy voice actors: Clancy Brown.
Other evil VA's include Mark Hamil (Joker), Frank Welker (Megatron), and Kevin Michael Richardson (Shredder)

Yeah, but like I say, I just never cared for it (the mangled street talk didn't go down smooth for me, either). I can maybe count on one hand the number of episodes I actually cared for.
Well, Clancy Brown's been a long-time villain, going all the way back to the first Highlander movie. Few and far between are the occasions where you see him in a role where he's on the side of the angels. Mark Hamil's VA credits have mostly included villains, too. But when it comes to Frank Welker and Kevin Micheal Richardson, truthfully, they've voiced just as many heroes as they have villains...maybe more.

Oh, definitely sure I didn't draw for the show. Flattered that you'd think so, however. Truth be told, emulating other styles was something I was never any good at. It wasn't a knack I developed until just a few short years ago. I guess it was my own style that helped kind of smooth things out.^_^

Well, badass was definitely the look I was going for in this pic. This was an image I'd conjured up in my head almost immediately after I wrote my fic, "Home(s) Away from Home", when a full MMP Ron uses the Lotus Blade for the first time.
As for the anime vibe, well, maybe it's there with the thoughts on the sword abilities. As for Ron himself, I was mostly just going for the look of when he went full-on MMP for the first time. I have to admit, with the background, I was TOTALLY faking it, but in the end, it came out WAY closer to perfect than I originally thought it would.

Boy, when you write that story about Monkey Fist coming back, I don't think he'll be happy to hear about Ron's upgrade. You might also want to point out the irony that if Monkey Fist hadn't tricked Kim and Ron into helping him get that last monkey statue, then Ron wouldn't have gained Mystical Monkey Power.

Well, given "Monty"'s ego, he'd still most likely blame Ron, since in his mind, that power was meant to be given to him and him alone. But no, he's definitely not going to be happy to find out about Ron's evolution...especially since he's going to experience it first-hand...REPEATEDLY.

First off, it sounds like Monkey Fist and Gill have more in common than just being mutants: blaming Ron for something that was their own fault.
Second, speaking of the time Monkey Fist first appeared, when he and Ron first met, before his villainous nature was exposed, he treated Ron darkly. Do you think this was because Ron suspected that he was 'bad road' or because of Ron's dislike of monkeys?

Well, turning the blade black was really more of a cosmetic decision for me than anything else. Sure, I could have gone with blue tones, like the rest of how Ron looks when he goes all MMP on someone. But I actually think the contrast looks nice. Not to mention that it kind of emphasizes how Lotus Blade behaves differently with Ron...how HE'S the only one who can bring out this side of it.
In any event, glad you like it. As for my next pic, it's going to be another request pic that I've left on the back burner for a while. Unlike these other two, however, which I was able to bang out quickly, this one might take me a couple of days. I'd like to at least see about getting the pencil work done today, though. Then tomorrow, we'll look into scanning and finishing touches. After that, I'll probably get into my next Danny Phantom cosplay pic...unless my Gallery reaches 10,000 hits by then, in which case, I'll be working on the commemorative pic instead.

Yeah, this was my first time, working on Max's patented "glitter smoke" (definitely something I wanted to add to this pic). While the smoke came out, okay, the glitter, I think was too dull. Something I'll just have to work on in future installments (although I think I already have an idea to improve on it).

Well, actually, the commemorative pic is going to be based off the date Kim and Ron went on in my fic, "The Possible Substitution Squad" (hey, I need SOME excuse to draw Kim in that dress I had her wearing). Anyway, Kim and Ron are holding each other while fireworks are going off in the sky. And among the fireworks, I'll have "10,000 HITS!" emblazoned in the sky.

Cute reference. However, in this case, that's probably quite true as well. While Rufus and Monkey Fist also both possess the MMP, I consider theirs to be an intermediate form, compared to the level that Ron as achieved. Though it took him a little longer, Ron's reached a plateau that the other two will probably never see. And ultimately, maybe that's the point.
