Well, here I am, jumping on the bandwagon with one of two Christmas-themed pics I'm planning to draw (the next one won't be ready until after the big day, but oh well...). Here, we have a Kim Possible pic celebrating the occasion. Unlike most of my other pics, this one is actually based on a scene that ISN'T in one of my fanfics (mostly because I haven't come up with a good KP Christmas story to put it in). The overall gist is that Ron gets cast as one of the elves for the Smarty Mart Santa..."I kind of like it," Kim remarks teasingly. "Shows off your legs."
"Yeah, well...something tells me this getup would look a lot better on you than on me," Ron answers with a suggestive grin.
"Hmm, get it out of the store...and I'll think about it," Kim coos seductively.
Which brings us to the scene for how the story would end. While everyone else is partying, Kim steals away with Ron back to his house to give him part of his holiday gift early. Although she lets him keep the fake ears and the pointy shoes (she thinks they look better on him). Anyway, I'll leave it up to you all to decide. Does it look like Ron was right? Does Kim manage to pull it off better?

The first thing want to say is I hope you get well real soon. Your artwork and stories are joy to all K.P and D.P fans everywhere. I understand things are hard when you are not feeling well. Take your time in reply to the email I send you last week. Just get well soon. This great Christmas artwork. They only did one Christmas show in K.P series. I really wish that they did one while they were dating in show. I never forget how Ron and doc D going on a about that show snowman Hank. I love how the family all came together bring Ron home for Christmas. I like to think that Possible family thinks of Ron as one of them. The romance you do with them is so great that words can not say how much I love it! These two love each other more than the Gomez and Morticia Addams do. That is saying something. Never forget that your stories are worth waiting for. I have great faith in you. I can only hope that you do some wedding artwork with Kim and Ron. Maybe short story on their wedding in future if it can be work in your plans for this. Love live Kim and Ron romance forever!Β Β

Well, the Christmas episode was also the first indication that Ron could actually take on Dr. Drakken without requiring his Mystical Monkey Power.Β As for a Christmas story with Kim and Ron in their current relationship, believe me, I'd like to do that.Β I just don't have a plot lined up yet.

I'd like to think that episode was also the first indication that Kim thought of Ron as more than a friend. Remember how choked up she was when she found the 'supposedly' last escape pod and Ron wasn't there? Or when the two were under the mistletoe (or rather parsley)?
Btw, you don't need to repeat your theory on the evolution of Kim's feelings.

Well, the scene I played out in my head was a little more direct and subtle, but to each his own. Would you like me to run it by you?
Actually, my original vision for the scene was not to have it take place in Ron's living room, but actually in Ron's treehouse, with a little bit of mistletoe hanging overhead (gee, how did that get there?). But then, I quickly realized that given the weather...and the kind of clothes that Kim's "not" wearing...even with plenty of body heat to share, Ron's unheated, uninsulated treehouse might not be the best venue to pose as a sexy elf. So I figured to change it.

Actually, the thought of it happening in the tree-house is kind of appropriate. It's practically Ron's secret super-lair (in his mind anyway), so why not also his love-nest?

Glad you like it. Yeah, I was definitely looking to heat things up a little bit with that pic, going for a little sex appeal. Speaking of which, you might like to check out my latest request pic, an OC done in the KP style. I kind of turned up the heat a little bit on that one, too. I also did a DP holiday pic, which I think looks quite nice as well.

Well, to be fair, it's not as though the Kim Possible series didn't have some steamy moments to it. After all, Kim and Shego both got decked out in some rather slutty ensembles on occasion ("Emotion Sickness", "So the Drama" and "Mentor of Our Discontent" are the most notable episodes). In that spirit, my fanfics also skirt the sex appeal angle on occasion as well. There's one scene in my fic, "Decisions, Decisions" that has Kim doing warm-up stretches in a skintight Global Justice uniform. I also trotted her out in a backless mini dress in my fic, "The Possible Substitution Squad" (I'll definitely be drawing a pic of her in that dress sometime down the road).

Yeah, I do miss the old-school stuff, myself. To be honest, the two best shows Disney has produced in my opinion were Kim Possible and Gargoyles (and Gargoyles was like, 15 years ago). Now, Disney seems mostly into making crap like tween sitcoms over animated shows. Although, Disney has always been famous for never giving its TV properties a fair shake. That's why you have to wait forever and a day to see them appear on DVD (and why I got tired of waiting and have the entire KP series on my computer).
Anyway, you might want to check out the latest KP pic I drew. It's no Kim in a backless mini-dress, but you should like it nonetheless. That's actually going to be the last pic I do for a little while, too, since I'm going to be focusing on writing my next Danny Phantom fanfic, entitled "Laws of Attraction" (I've posted a brief synopsis on the latest Journal entry in my DA Profile, if you're interested).

Glad you like it. Actually, I think the only thing that really throws me about this pic is the color I used to draw the hard line for Kim's nose. While the color is accurate, it does require you to maintain a tight focus on Kim's face, because if you don't, it gives off this illusion that her nose is too big. I'm still happy with how this one turned out, though. And I'm hoping my next Holiday pic will turn out just as well.

Well, if you don't recognize the imperfections in your own work, how do you expect to improve? Still, like I say, I'm happy with how the pic turned out. That illusion I mentioned is basically just a trick of the color if you don't focus on it properly. It is something to remember for the next time I do a side profile of Kim's face, though.
