Well folks, here I am again. It's been a while, I know, but you'll soon see that I've been quite busy. But here we have my first pic back.This one comes to us as a request from , who requested a Valentine's Day-themed pic. But unlike his previous requests, which are usually uber-specific, this one, he left entirely at my discretion. I even got to pick the characters I'd use. I know that when it comes to Valentine's Day with DP pics, people instantly think of Danny and Sam. And don't get me wrong, I love Danny and Sam together as much as the next fan. But DXS pics are easy. I wanted to go somewhere a little off the beaten path. So I thought what I'd do is kill two birds with one stone and decided to draw this follow-up to the "Valentine's Day"-themed DP fanfic I'd just finished, entitled, "What She Wants" and simply make that 's request (hey, I was planning to draw this pic anyway). Also, since I still have just barely enough time, I'm also choosing to throw this pic into for 's "Ghostly Valentine's Day" contest.
Now...for those of you who are looking at this pic and undoubtedly wondering how such an utterly preposterous thing could have POSSIBLY occurred...well, you're just going to have to read my fanfic for that. It's currently posted up on fanfiction.net (under my Author Name of Aaron12), but I've also posted it (along with another recent DP fic), here as well. In the meantime, , I hope this pic is everything you hoped for, considering you gave me total creative control on this one. As for everyone else (including the contest judges at ), I hope you all enjoy the pic as well.^_^

I love Sidney and Desiree! These two are so sweet together. I want to see them married with children as much as like see it for Danny and Sam. When think these two in love the song comes to my mind is I love you for thousand years. It is song from last twilight movies. I wish to see more stories and artwork with them. I like to see them get some friends later on to. Any romance artwork on them or Danny and Sam is welcome by me that goes same with stories to. I like to think that Sidney and Desiree are like Jessica and Rodger rabbit it just works. You should do a Halloween artwork with them dress like them. That would be so great! I like this almost as much I like your artwork on the welcome to next level one. You know the one of Danny and Sam. I hope that these two will show up in one of your Danny phantom stories soon. As ever your work on Danny phantom and Kim possible stories are treasure behold for all also goes for your artwork to. I have been fan of your work when I read your first Danny phantom story many years ago. You have made many fans of these shows so happy doing this for everyone loves it. Well, maybe a child will be in Sidney and Desiree's future, but that's not where my mind is at right now. They will be appearing in quite a few stories coming down the line, I will say.
Yeah, it's pretty easy to make the Jessica/Roger comparison with these two. Although I can honestly say, you're going to see a lot more of how Desiree and Sidney's relationship develops as future stories unfold. As for a Halloween cosplay pic, we'll see what happens.
As for other characters and relationships, Valerie is still up in the air right now. However, Tucker and Jazz WILL find their true loves, although not really right away.

Did. And another one, though that was unintentional. Got dragged into helping someone, they didn't need my help, so I ended up waiting in a truck for three hours. That was fun. Thankfully the windows were down and it's been much cooler due to all the rain. Otherwise I'd have not been so understanding about it. XD

Glad you like the pic. Although I can't take all the credit for it. This idea actually came to me by way of one of my fanfic readers. I have to admit, I wasn't entirely sold on it at first. But when I thought about the things I knew I wanted to do with Desiree and started marrying his ideas with my own, I realized it had the potential to actually work. And so far, it looks like it has. As it stands, all the comments I've gotten from people are in overwhelming support of this new pairing. So I'm happy.^_^

Your fic was very sweet and heart warming. And because of it I have more ideas for my own fic and I really want to thank you for that. I especially loved the ending, I could definetly imagine Desiree's hair in a bun xD

Well, I'm very glad you liked the story, even if you're not jumping on the bandwagon with this pairing (although it's perfectly understandable, since you're coming up with a pairing of your own). Although I have to say, I can't take credit for the idea itself. This was an idea that was floated to me by one of my readers. I just brought the idea to life and filled in some of the blanks. I have to admit, I wasn't entirely sold on his suggestion at first, but as I started marrying the concept to some of the ideas that I knew I wanted to implement with Desiree, I realized it had the potential to actually work.
See, the thing is, from what we've seen of the episodes Desiree's been in, you get the sense that Desiree isn't like Ember or Spectra in that she doesn't seem to have any plan or agenda. While in the episode, "Memory Blank" she did say that the more wishes she grants, the more powerful she gets, she never really said what she wanted to do with that power once she got it. And with her first appearance in "What You Want", her personality seemed to be all over the place...happy and cheerful one minute, seeming to be almost blissfully ignorant of the havoc she was really creating...then suddenly, wicked and malevolent the next. So taking all that into consideration, I got the feeling that Desiree really doesn't have any real goal or objective in mind. In the end, she's really just pissed off and alone and acting out like she does is the only way she knows how to vent.
So that's when I came up with the idea that I would like someone to be with Desiree and care for her and ultimately, ease her pain and her rage. Unfortunately, I didn't have a character in mind to do the job. Until the idea for Sidney came along, I thought I might have to come up with an OC for the part, which had me thinking that I wouldn't be able to get to this story until considerably later in my series. But when the suggestion was made, everything just seemed to fit. And all things considered, everything seems to be working out fine. From the comments I've heard, readers seem to be in overwhelming support of this pairing. So I'm happy.
As for Desiree's new look, yeah, I thought it was a good style for her (I'll need to do a pic of it at some point). But as she appears in future stories of mine, she won't be abandoning her classic look entirely. It'll be kind of like a "Wish-Granting Mode", whenever she needs to be there for Sidney.^_^
Anyway, very glad you liked the story and I'm also happy that it was able to give you some ideas for inspiration. I hope you get the chance to enjoy the rest of my stories at some point, too.^_^

When I read this fanfic it got me thinking maybe not all of Danny's enemies are bad maybe -like Desiree- they just got dealt a crummy hand in life and are suffering for it as ghosts and that's they're so malevolent?

They sure did, Desiree's happy Sidney is not getting bullied any more and his little Valentin's day stunt allowed for Kwan to be shown as a good person just in the wrong crowd. And I agree with the idea of Dash and Paulina being the devils on his shoulder in the show he always came off- to me at least- as a good guy that didn't know how to be his own person.

Well, I tend to feel that way about Kwan, too. I mean, to me, he's always been a half decent person. It's just that when he's with the "Beautiful People", they have a habit of shouting down the better angels in his brain. I guess time will tell how this will develop in time.^_^

Well, to be honest, I'm really not surprised that no one is seeing this pair coming. Because the simple truth is, until I wrote the fanfic this pic is based on, I didn't even see it coming. It was actually suggested to me by a reader on fanfiction.net.
I have to admit, I wasn't entirely sold on it when he first came to me. But when I started thinking about the direction that I wanted to go with Desiree and started marrying his ideas with my own, I realized it had the potential to actually work.
