I understand this is my first pic in a while, but hopefully, everyone will find this worth the wait. This is kind of a follow-up to my earlier pic featuring Sidney Poindexter and Desiree. Now, as all of you who have read my DP fanfic, "What She Wants", already know (and if you haven't read it yet, then what are you waiting for?!), after Sidney granted Desiree's heart's desire and the two became magically bonded (meaning that Sidney is the only one whose wishes Desiree will grant from now on), Sidney has now become the Principal of his school in the Ghost Zone, while Desiree has become his Assistant Principal.I just figured I'd take this opportunity to showcase the new looks I gave them for their new roles (even if Sidney doesn't look all that different...all I did was just give him a suit jacket). I just wanted to see if the looks would work as well as I saw them in my head. Frankly, I'm quite pleased, but don't take my word for it. Take a look and let me know. As you know, comments are always welcome.^_^

Personally, I think Desiree still looks better in her arabian garb, but then again, now she's a career woman. Perhaps she can get it back on certain days.

Well, the idea is that she'll be turning back into her genie form quite regularly (primarily whenever she's granting Sidney's wishes).Β The Assistant Principal getup is essentially for school-related business.

Desiree and Sidney now I love to see what kind future these two have in 10 years or so.Β I love to see what happen to the poor foolish dumb ghost that got in their head to kidnaped Sidney from her. Who would be that crazy in the ghost zone to do it? How do you think Sidney died as human? I still love to see these two as married with little children at their side one day. I just love to see people act like Eddie did when he found out Jessica rabbit was married to Roger in same for Desiree and Sidney. It just be really funny I think. I really love see more artwork on these two. What really great is that it really works. I hope see themΒ in your stories real soon to. Truly great artwork on happy ending for these hurting souls. Actually, it's not a ghost who'll be brainwashing Sidney.Β But either way, don't worry.Β It won't happen for long.
As for Sidney the ghost, who's to say?Β Honestly, it's a little murky.Β There is a grim theory among some in the DP fan community that Sidney likely committed suicide, but I'm not sure.Β I mean, it's not unlikely that the real Sidney Poindexter might still be alive and that this ghost of Sidney was possibly a separate entity, created from all the resentment and anguish that the real Sidney Poindexter experienced in his youth.
As for being married with children, well, you'll have to wait for my "Future" stories to see about that.
Well, everyone WAS kind of surprised when Desiree kissed Sidney at the end of "What She Wants".Β As for more artwork of them, I'm planning to do that later on.Β I just don't have any real ideas right now.Β But yes, they definitely work together.Β I already told you once how the idea materialized, so I won't waste your time again, but it's definitely a pairing everyone who's experienced it seems to like.

I read the story and I must say I feel happy for them both. No more loneliness for Desiree wand no more getting picked on for the new principal. Also I bet every male in the whole school will have their eyes on desiree

Well, I'm certainly glad you enjoyed it (hopefully, you'll enjoy the rest of my DP fanfic series as well.Β The truth is, this story charted a direction that I've actually wanted to take Desiree in for quite some time. Because the thing is, from what we've seen of the episodes she's been in, you get the sense that she isn't like Ember or Spectra in that she doesn't seem to have any plan or agenda. While in the episode, "Memory Blank", she does say, "the more wishes I grant, the more powerful I get", she never truly revealed what she wanted to do with that power once she got it. And with her first appearance in "What You Want", her personality seemed to be all over the place...happy and cheerful one minute, seeming to be almost blissfully ignorant of the havoc she was really creating...then suddenly, wicked and malevolent the next. So taking all that into consideration, I started to get the feeling that Desiree really doesn't have any real goal or objective in mind. In the end, she's really just pissed off and alone and acting out like she does is the only way she knows how to vent.
So that's when I came up with the idea that I would like someone to be with Desiree, to care for her and ultimately, ease her pain and her rage. The only problem was, I didn't have a character in mind to do the job. For a long time, I thought I might have to cobble together some kind of OC for the part. But then, a fanfiction.net member came along and mentioned this whole idea of putting Sidney together with Desiree.Β And I have say, I wasn't entirely sold on it at first. But when I thought back to the things I knew I wanted to do with Desiree and started marrying his ideas with my own, I realized it had the potential to actually work.Β And so far, it looks like it has because everyone who's read the story seems to be in overwhelming support of them together.
As for every male in the school having eyes on her, well, that's not hard to imagine.Β It may seem cliche, but I couldn't resist going for the "prim-and-proper-yet-TOTALLY-hot-librarian" look.Β Still, when I get to some later stories and you see what Sidney has in store for the school, the testosterone might get a little bit diluted, so to speak.

I read that story, and I felt really happy for both Sydney and Desiree. They both deserved better than what they had received in life, and I'm glad that they found their own happy ending, for lack of a better term.

Sidney was one of the ghosts that i felt really bad for and didn't see evil or dangerous to me (along with box ghost and possibly couple others.) He was a boy cursed to be bullied and shunned by his peers for the rest of eternity, he wasn't a villain he was a victim. i'm just glad Danny had some compassion on the boy and was able to change the way his peers treated him (if anyone should understand what it's like to be an outcast it's Danny and his friends, they're the very example of misunderstood and "strange", Danny's a half-ghost kid, Sam's a goth with different views than her peers and Tucker's a technology obsessed nerd.)

Well, Sidney was someone who basically just got pushed too far.Β But it's easy to feel for him.

Well, maybe not so much for right now.Β Like I illustrated in the story, Desiree is still a little too much woman for Sidney right now.Β Any sign of too much affection (which is pretty much anything beyond a hug and a little cuddling) and Sidney overheats and passes out.Β That's gonna be kind of a running gag I'll be going with for at least their next couple of appearances.^_^

I would HOPE Jerry Lewis, since Eddie Murphy hasn't done a single remake that hasn't sucked.Β Still, hotties have been hooking up with nerds since Roger Rabbit.Β So this really isn't that far out of bounds.
That's not to say that I was immediately on board with it.Β When the fanfic idea was pitched to me to put Sidney together with Desiree. I have to admit, I wasn't entirely sold on it at first. But when I thought back to the direction I knew I wanted to take Desiree in and started marrying his ideas with my own, I realized it had the potential to actually work. So far, it looks like it has. So far, all the comments I've gotten from readers are in overwhelming support of this new pairing. So I'm happy.^_^

Well, perhaps the simplest explanation would simply be paraphrasing something Roger Ebert once wrote in one of his movie reviews..."that everyone is beautiful when someone looks at them with love in their eyes."

Well, it might not be a different cause each time, but there'll be a different response.Β Like one scene at the beginning of the next story I plan to put them in where Desiree nuzzles up to Sidney and kisses him on the cheek.Β And just as he's about to pass out, she turns her hand into an electric fan to cool him off and bring him back.^_^

Well, that's pretty much it, isn't it?Β Nerds have pretty much been getting the hot babes ever since Roger and Jessica came along.Β As for a Halloween story, well, I've already done one (and you'll see it when you get into my earlier stories).Β But Sidney and Desiree weren't together yet at that point.Β I think you'll find some other interesting costumes come into play, though.^_^

Honestly, I never even thought of it until just recently. I've imagined Desiree in a lot of outfits, but Jessica's never come up. And she's got the most 'developed' body on the show.
