I understand this is my first pic in a while, but hopefully, everyone will find this worth the wait. This is kind of a follow-up to my earlier pic featuring Sidney Poindexter and Desiree. Now, as all of you who have read my DP fanfic, "What She Wants", already know (and if you haven't read it yet, then what are you waiting for?!), after Sidney granted Desiree's heart's desire and the two became magically bonded (meaning that Sidney is the only one whose wishes Desiree will grant from now on), Sidney has now become the Principal of his school in the Ghost Zone, while Desiree has become his Assistant Principal.I just figured I'd take this opportunity to showcase the new looks I gave them for their new roles (even if Sidney doesn't look all that different...all I did was just give him a suit jacket). I just wanted to see if the looks would work as well as I saw them in my head. Frankly, I'm quite pleased, but don't take my word for it. Take a look and let me know. As you know, comments are always welcome.^_^

Yes, you did send me a note. No, I hadn't replied yet, mostly because I wasn't 100% sure what to say. I suppose a dog makes a certain amount of sense (what with wonder dogs and all). Not quite sure what to say beyond that, except to say that Kim might not want it to hang around Ron to much, what with his father's allergies and all.

Well, it's hard to argue your logic. I just don't know if I have any ideas to contribute right now with regards to breed, names, things like that. But it sounds like a pretty good idea.

Glad you like it. I guess my main concern here wasn't really Desiree's look (I was confident that she'd pull it off), but whether or not the color scheme for Desiree would work out as I envisioned. Turns out, it worked quite well.^_^

Well I'm glad, and unfortunately I have some bad news. Yesterday night my grandmother (my granddaddy's wife and my mother's mother) passed away. So I might not be drawing to much of anything for a while.

It's been hardest on my mother, in truth I was never that close to either of them because for the longest they both smoked and since my mom has breathing problems we couldn't visit them as often. That and they lived two counties over.
But I think things are are settling down though my boss just rattle the wrong cage when he asked me to bring in proof that my grandparents had passed. Talk about an insult.

Oh, I can believe that. I mean, losing two parents, back-to-back? That can't be easy for ANYONE. And I know what it's like. My grandparents on my mother's side smoke and they used to live a fair distance away. It wasn't until they moved into town that we got to see them more frequently.
As for your boss, yeah, that's no good. I mean, I guess I can see a certain logic in his request, but I mean, come on. Whenever I had a death in the family, my bosses took my word for it. They never asked for anything. They just set things up to run in my absence.
By the way (and this isn't quite so important, so feel free to reply whenever), what was up with that note you sent? There was nothing on it.

Thanks knowing you get what my family and I are going through helps immensely and as for the note that was an error cause my a glitch in my phone.
This is unrelated but i just wanna ask. Are you still planing on doing the other pics I had mentioned (the future Danny and Sam phantom swim wear, and the plant versions of Sam and Danny in a romance shot). Again just had the thought strike me yesterday so thought I'd ask.
Again thank you sooooo very much for your support, and don't worry my mother is about to tear my boss a new one. She got super pissed at him when she heard he wanted evidence, and while I agree there is SOME logic in his request, I've never given him reason not to trust my word.

Well, I can understand why your mother wouldn't be too happy with your boss. I know I certainly wouldn't be if one of my bosses ever did that to me.
As for those other pics, no, I haven't forgotten about them. And they ARE going to be done (most likely sooner than later, in light of my new drawing regimen). It's just...you want your Burner pic to come first, right?^_^

Yeah kinda, I just know you said that you were gonna make some changes to his appearence so I was interested to see what they would be. But if you wanna start with an easier one that's fine to.

Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about that. He's still gonna look like your guy. I do have a couple of questions, though. Since the only pic I have of him is a pencil drawing, Exactly what did you want his hair and skin color to be? I've got a decent idea for the color of his overalls and I was thinking a skin color kind of like Johnny 13's. But I don't know about the hair color, so I figured it would be better to ask, rather than go with something that might muck up your vision.
Incidentally, drawing has already begun. I started with Ember, but it became pretty clear that I'm going to have to start over and go from a vertical picture to a horizontal one. Otherwise, I won't have enough room for everything you want on the page (namely, Skulker and Desile). Basically, I took a gamble that didn't pay off. Still, the effort was hardly a total waste of time, as I got a very good idea as to what I want Ember's pose and facial expression to be. And I remain confident that I'll be able to get the pencil work done before my days off roll around.^_^

Here is list of Burner's features and their respective colors: his skin is pale, kinda like Johnny's so your on the right track their. His flame hair red that includes his goatee. His eye are yellow with red pupils kinda like Beetlejuice.
Now just to recap about his cloths his coveralls are black with red and yellow hot rod flames reaching up the pants leg and sleeves. His boots are black to with steel toes, they are a heavy tougher brand than Sam's as these are designed to be work boots.
I hope this info helps. If you think any color changes need to be made let me know before hand. Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm, okay, I suppose I can work with that. Personally, I thought his coveralls might have been a dark greenish color (kind of like the walls of the Fenton Works lab that I colored in my last pic). But looking at it that way, it could be seen as being more akin to the fatigues worn in Walker's Prison. So it might be best to see it your way.
One quick question, though. In that sample pic you sent me, what was the deal with his nose. were those a piercing or really tiny glasses or something? Just want to make sure I get things right.

It is a small pair of round sun glass but I think I drew them to small. You can leave it off if you want.

Well, I'll see if he looks better with or without them. Since this is going to be the pic that basically introduces him, I'd rather he have as little obscuring his face as possible. But we'll see.

Don't worry. Nobody had any problems the last time I drew a pic, introducing an OC that someone wanted to see in my fics (the fact that I haven't written her in yet, being 100% irrelevant).
But I think people are going to be fairly pleased with how this turns out. Point of interest, I used Dash as a heavy influence for Burner's body type.
Have to say, though, I don't see the similarities to Danny's costume. Or was your brother talking about my Future Danny design?

I don't know what he saw that I didn't I just thought it gave me an excuses to customize his coveralls to make them look cool.

One other quick question. Is there any particular color scheme you'd like Desile to be? Or would you like him to just be a typical doberman with a ghostly aura around him?

Yeah sorry it was supposed to say shoulder pad, as for Desile I think the typical color scheme would be good or what ever you think is best. Truth be told I haven't had time to give it much thought.

Well, the pic's about 90-95% done at this point. I just need to throw a quick background together, which shouldn't take more than a few minutes. And then, it's all set for scanning and finishing up. By the way, I'm quite pleased with how Desile turned out. He's definitely got that doberman look while displaying that hint of cuteness that I wanted to give him. I'm especially pleased with this, considering my limited experience drawing animals.
Anyway, this pic should be finished and rolling in no time. Maybe not today, but definitely tomorrow.^_^

I wanna take a moment to thank you for all that you've done for me and all that you've done for the other Danny Phantom fans that read your fics, and view your pics. I'd like to give a BIG thanks for taking Burner and putting him into your fanfiction series. Okay, slight hiccup. I ended up taking a nap I didn't plan to and lost a lot of time because of it. That's not to say I still can't get the pic done today, but if I don't, expect it first thing tomorrow morning. Guaranteed.
Another point of interest, regarding Burner's hair. I know you'd like it red, but I'm thinking of making him a redhead more in the sense of Jazz being a redhead, tweaking his hair more to the orange side, so it looks brighter and more flame-like.
And no problem for the help.^_^

Okay, Burner and Desile are completed (I think you'll be pleasantly surprised). Ember is almost done. After that, it's just Skulker and backgrounds and we're good to go. Although that still probably won't be until the morning (I'll be heading out with some friends for a few hours here, pretty quick).
Just a quick question that I've been meaning to ask for a while. When I write about Desile in the fics, would it be acceptable if I wrote his name as "Diesel", just so there's no confusion from readers on how to pronounce his name?
