Well, here we are. With Halloween only days away, it would pretty irresponsible of me to not throw in a Halloween-themed pic for everyone's enjoyment. So here...we...go.This pic is based on my Danny Phantom fanfic, "Royal Occupation". Set against the backdrop of Halloween, where lots of Casper High students are gracing the school in costume, Sam decides to throw everyone for a loop by coming to school dressed as Danny, of all people. Naturally, this comes as a surprise to most, who were naturally expecting Sam to show up, decked out in an ultra-elaborate, uber-dark, mega-creepy costume. But Sam turns her initially plain outfit on its head by showing there's more than one way to be creepy, as she basically made her costume choice just so she can make out with Danny at school all day and freak everybody else out while she does it. Judging by Tucker and Valerie's reaction, it looks like the plan is coming together nicely.^_^
I have to be honest, I really wasn't sure if I was going to get this pic finished in time. Never mind all the work that had to go into this pic with all the characters on the page and the background (to say nothing of the fact that this was my first time drawing Armored Valerie and there was quite a bit of guess-and-test involved, getting certain details right). But what ended up happening was, I tore up my thumb at work last week (actually, I tore up BOTH my thumbs) and I wasn't sure if it was going to heal enough by the weekend to even TRY and get this pic done. Fortunately, it looks as though luck was on my side (well, that and A LOT of Polysporin), so I was able to sit down and bang this pic out. Definitely gonna want my next pic to be a simpler one, though, but I'm immensely pleased with how this one turned out. Hope everyone else feels the same way.^_^

Well, hence the title of the picture and why Sam would choose to dress like that.Β Not only to freak other people out, but to feel some kinky thrills of her own.
To be honest, I've found that most people had the same reaction to it that you did.Β Not something I intended, but I suppose I should feel pleased for bringing out such strong feelings.^_^

It a Halloween joke sort of.Β I like to think that like messing with their friends heads doing it. I like to know what Sam parents would think did this with them seeing it. I love to see Dash and Paulina get upset seeing them do that. It be nice to see them get some payback for being jerks to them over the years in school. After all it great artwork that goes very well with your Halloween story. I like to know what Danni and Jazz think ofΒ Sam and Danny Halloween costume? I love it very much!Β Β

Well, you've read the story this goes with, so you know that Dash and Paulina did something equally creepy to Danny and Sam (even though they didn't know they were doing it at the time).Β As for Sam's parents, Danielle and Jazz, who's to say how they'd react?Β Glad you like it, though.

This gave me mental imagery of Danny in Ghost Mode after a fight meeting up with Sam-dressed-as-Danny outside the school and claiming a victory kiss from his girlfriend, much to the shock of the rest of the school. XD

Interesting idea, though even to preserve Danny's identity, I don't see a scene like that playing out to ANYONE'S best interests.

Best interest, no; it honestly seems more like the kind of wacky misunderstandings that were typical in-show, the kind that stir up a slew of rumors and speculation for a week but fade with no further fuel except the die-hard Phans and shippers, reboot to near-status quo next episode save for the occasional callback later in the season. Makes for a lovely facepalm moment during the series final Big Reveal when someone says, "So... Fenton and Phantom aren'tΒ secret gay lovers?" and Danny turns bright red and buries his face in his arms while Sam and Tucker laugh at him.
