Well why not? They made PB younger so that's sorta proof the candy people could get younger in age aswell. Also the timelapse from Finn being 13 to 16 this quick shows that FP is older aswell, we just dunno how old. Possibility being 16 but we dunno if fire people can get older/younger too.

I am not too sure about a new love interest for Finn for 2 reasons.
1: It would make things complicated. Having two female characters that has a close relation with Finn is enough. We all had second thoughts about Flame Princess and we accepted her as a character. Then, if this new character gets along with Finn and the show, we all be accepting her and start over the cycle. It's really weird.
2: Most of us got used to FP as a new character. I'm not saying having a new character is bad. It's just that a new love interest of Finn can be weird. I believe there is a chance for Finn and FP to catch up and start over. The season 6 finale shows that his love goes to FP.
Growing up is hard, but it doesn't mean it up in a bad way. Finn needs to be mature

I second the whole "Finn needs to grow up" thought. Even though his character has changed a lot throughout the years, he's still very kid-like. Which isn't a completely horrible thing, I guess, but he just makes some bad decisions sometimes.Β

Yeah, but I didn't like the breakup. It was harsh. He could've have second thoughts about it. I say he needs to wait for the right moment and talk to her and start over their relationship. A new girl would make things weird, in my opinion

Also, Finn never really saw Marceline as anything more than a friend, he just wanted to watch a movie and jake said that he had to bring a date.

Well there was a website pen ward had about voice acting for a new character ((it's taken down now though)) and a lot of girls I know (including Bella) looked into it. So they ended up going to a place to help with the character and audition to voice act. That is why she is gone right now :3 she is looking into it. We've been communicating back and forth and she sent me a video of the girls character design. I heard in about a week or so that they may leak some pics on to the web!~

Well it will always be posible though. As we saw in incedium how quickly he got over PB and liked Phoebe instead.

Yeah there was an article but I can't find it now 0-0 anyhow they've been leading up to her or a loooong time. I honestly don't like it. Cause right when they bring in this new girl that people are starting to like, they totally change flame princess character and make her more of a bad character, and SHE LIKES FINN AGAIN! But he isn't interested T^T as much as I don't like fp I don't think it was a good choice
