Me during creating this:I suck at drawing cars, I had to use Hot Wheels toy for general reference (plus like countless number of screencaps and photos of KITT (KITT apparence changes often in the series, even in an one episode, hint: look at foglights)). I suck at painting cars hence there is a lineart. I suck at painting reflections on car's body from imagination hence I couldn't make it into fully painting. I suck so much at drawing cars that the normal drawing would look like a crap.
So here you have: half drawing, half painting with cheap titles, wtf, lol.
But shh! I'm proud.
I won't draw Michael because I suck at drawing people, at least digitally. For some reason I can't get the proportions right on the tablet... I prefer work with pencil and paint. And mirrors.

Those who follow me on Tumblr know that I recently did few drawings and sketches of old cars traditionaly. For practice purpose :V (I want do more but I don't have more good quality photo references).
Because I suck at drawing cars that much, lol.

Moje dzieciństwo.
Ah, te serialne typu "Knight Rider", "Team A", "Airwolf", "Street Hawk", MacGyver".
Dzisiaj pewnie strach byłoby je oglądać, po tym jak jesteśmy zarzucani fikuśnymi, wypalającymi oczy efektami specjalnymi, ale wtedy to był absolutny szał.

Cicho sza! Nic nie równa się z modelami, dublerami i autentycznymi pościgami.
Tak samo jak nic nie równa się z facetem przebranym w gumowy kostium deptającym kartonowe miniaturowe budynki.

Hmmm, jestem świadomy istnienia tej nowej wersji, ale widziałem tylko kawałek kawałka jednego odcinka (co mnie naprawdę (fakt, że to istnieje) zaskoczyło). Więc nie mogłem sobie wyrobić na ten temat żadnej opinii.

Oglądnęłam pilota. To nie to samo. KI3T jest taki bezpłciowy. Choć sam pilot był okej, nie miałam żadnych zastrzeżeń, nawet mnie wciągnął.
Jak skończę z oryginalną serią i KR2000 to zamierzam obaczyć serię z 2008, po angielsku of course, bo mi nawet lektor już przeszkadza.

Well... This picture here is lazy. I used photo of my Hot Wheels toy as a essential base for proportions and perspective (later I corrected errors and lack of details looking at many photos of KITT). Instead of trying recreate the perspective in mind, you know. (though I can explain myself with my little knowledge and understanding about cars: I can't draw something well in any view if I don't know how it looks like (for example I can draw 126p quite good from many views (126p even had a cameo in my ZZiI comic book and a Delorean version of 126p can be seen here: [link] ), but I have never seen this car in real life, thereofore I don't know the drawing object).
Though in other hand I didn't want to just use a photo from the Google image. I find that cheap and I would feel cheating. I can understand using animal photos as an art reference, but with cars... I would feel not ok. Also I wanted an exact "pose" of the car.
I studied reflections on KITT's body, looking at photos and screen caps I have gathered. The sketches I made of old cars also was helpful here.
I know it isn't perfect but I'm happy with it (if I not, I wouldn't publish it online).

Same here, I have to know well what I'm drawing in order to draw it from a different angle/perspective/"pose", and it wouldn't be fair to simply copy a photo of the subject (except for portraits, those are too difficult).
You tried to achieve a more personal composition, and managed to make it believable, that's all that counts, for now
