Description
From this to this .I did this at grandparent's house. Final touches later. Meh. I don't like it but here you go.
To me Mew will always be lab rat + undeveloped animal thing (kinda like embryo or marsupial young).
Its eyes fills like half of its skull...
Btw, does anyone noticed similarites between Abra and Mew? The same head?

Mew is my face Pokemon, and this just opened up my mind to so many other things, including the thought that if mew was realy it wouldn't be a cute little pink kitten with giant feet, but it would be this. I love it, it is my face of yours!!

A realistic Mew that doesn't look like a pink cat, am I dreaming?
There's only one thing I don't understand: Mew actually has a round tip at the end of its tail, yet you didn't add it here. Why?

I ignored the tip. I didn't feel like it should has it. Just that. Call that Author's Fantasy.
Made up explanations: 1) the tail doesn't have enough strenght to control such thing, if it would be a bone. Fur is lame. 2) There could be fat actually. Lets say the Mew is just after the cloning experiments and it's starving.

Are psychic powers considered when you project your realistic pokΓ©mons? It would be easier to control a bone (or cartilage) at the end of the tail in that case.

Psychic powers aren't that psychic IMO, but for now let's say psychic powers are considered into realistic pokemon. But not as it's shown in games or cartoon :V
First of all, such powers costs energy and focus. I see it as a waste to use such powers just to control the tail.
Mew has about 40cm height (warning, knowledge from 1999, may be rusty). It's quite small. As a small animal it looses much energy. With big brain (neurocranium is big so the brain should be big as well), that perhaps uses even more energy than an usual brain, is even harder to survive. Small jaws doesn't help either. Psychic powers could appear as a reaction to such abnormal proportions of the body, to help survive.
This kinda reminds me evolution of human brain and problems appearing during a births because of the big brain (heads). We are born undeveloped, because our fully developed heads could kill both us and mother.
Human generally is useless... I sometimes think there was force majeure,in our evolution. Humans are so... deformed... They are unbelievable strange creatures. Yet, together they are capable to survive. That yattayatta got quite offtopic.
And... How would it look like? Mew using its powers to not hit itself with its own tail? That sounds stupid
