Description
Pismo Beach, CAThis past weekends weather was two days of wild winds and violent seas. Some unexpected cloud formations also decided to crash the nature party- but unfortunately not captured here. The dark skies and rough ocean is always a nice change of scenery for me. The skies of the central coast are most often the neutral colorless white sky or blue with some fog thrown in there.
I took an alternate shot of this composition which detailed some nice white and purple daisies in the foreground but ultimately went with this, I wanted to show as much of the dark duvet of sky as I could with my 55mm.

What an incredible photograph! I bet if you flipped the picture horizontally I wouldn't be able to tell. The sky looks like it has waves in it. Gorgeous shot!
