I finally decided to start over on the Viking idea from the beginning, because it just wasn't working. Unfortunately, this isn't working so much, either. The border is all wobbly. (I used rulers, I promise. I just don't get along with rulers.) It's too cluttered. The horns on the stereotypical Viking helms are out of perspective and wonky. Alas.Mediums: Primsacolor marker, colored pencils, and pen on Bristol board

Thanks. I haven't forgotten about NK and Otori. I'm still trying to get a story for the comic, but I don't want to throw it together when the story isn't concrete. I think I'm going to end up like JRR Tolkien and spend 60 years on the whole thing. My niece or nephew will have to print the graphic novel posthumously for me.

Actually, I really like this. Yeah, the border is a bit off, but you worked some great texture into this, and I love the personality you've given the characters. Great pose for NK.
