Description
Created with Apophysis 2.07.I'm not as happy with this one, but I wanted to post one more in this style before moving on. It's a little hot in some places, but that's what you get for using white in your gradient.
Comments and critiquing greatly appreciated.

I think this is awesome. I love the shapes and the colors. I think the white adds a good contrast to it.

Oh, Dennis! I love it! It's very classy, I love the gradient you chose and the swirls give it movement. This style is always suggestive of jewelry or riches, and you've managed to give that an industrial edge without losing the elegance. I want to live on the planet where the ladies were those jewels and ride in hoverlimos.

I dunno, I actually like the white in it. It gives it a very metallic feel and helps draw the eye in the midst of the darker areas.

i like the way it has a mother of pearl feeling to it. reminds me strangely of some jewelry i'd find in my grandmother's box or something. the colors do remind me of metal as well like was mentioned earlier. perhaps you can edit out some of the hotspots just with the saturation adjustment in the gradient window?

I can't believe I didn't think of that.
I went back to the parameters and upped the saturation for the gradient, which decreased some of the hotspots. Thanks for the help.

I really like this one. I still can't figure out how you guys get such clear and detailed Grand Julians. I am so jealous.
I like the white. You said it makes it look hot in some places, but I like it.
