So my headcanon for Blue and Orange revolves around this: Blue has a drooling problem, but rather than drooling saliva, he drools ink. It's actually a pretty bad condition, and it hinders him by limiting his participation in Turf Wars to 3 battles and only 3 battles or even anything that requires strenuous exercise. His family was even worried when he asked if he can join the Turf Wars. If he overworked himself, he might get into a fit and vomit a dangerous amount of ink. He learns to control his drooling better but that's only because of one reason...

Orange.

Blue loved the artworks she did when they were both little, but almost every time he watched over her drawings, his drool will drip onto the paintings, causing Orange to be quite upset. She dubbed Blue her rival after tolerating him for a long time and started to avoid him to this very day.

Blue just wants to talk to her and hopes that just by that they can at least reach an understanding. Orange, on the other hand, is stubborn to talk to him.

Perhaps something drastic will happen in order for them to work things out.

Blue uses a Splattershot Jr. due to its light weight while Orange keeps up with her artistic personality with the Inkbrushes and Octobrushes.
