Result of a YCH Auction that I held on FurAffinity a little bit back, a realistic shaded commission done for Duke-Jarnunvosk of FA, featuring his scalesona, Duke!

This piece was so much fun to work on!  I love how his wings turned out, and when Duke asked me to throw something like a galaxy or nebula in the background, I jumped all over that!  I love how it looks like he's just almost skimming the treetops, and that the galaxy looks so close that it's a mere few wingbeats away~

I think it also kind of looks like the galaxy is pulling the mist out of the forest, if anyone else can see what I mean.  Otherwise I'm just too tired for my own good at the moment.

I really love the background with the dark forest and the nebula (and every thought you wrote down in the text 'bout it very profound and one's somewhat forced to think more about the whole piece), and of course the dragon himself.
