~~~Realistic Shaded Commission for featuring their character, Draco, soaring over an icy mountain range~
Phew, love this one! Feels good to work on a big dragon again! This guy has some really unique wings that were fun to work on. To accommodate the 'extra' bend in them, I looked at how pterosaurs wings are built, what with their elongated wrists. I also tried something a bit different with the shading to show the stretch of the membrane, (as well as some fleshy veins, if you peer close enough.) Turned out awesome!

Since your last journal where you announced your to-do-list to finish the last week, I was searching for new art multiple times every day. Especially at the weekend - my brother simply knew what I wanted while coming with a big grin into his room. 'Open up your watchlist - anything new from TwilightSaint?' (I was at my mothers house at the weekend, just like him.)
And now, after weeks of waiting and somewhat getting crazy, I just... feel like 'OH MY F**CKING GOOOD, it's finally done!' and faint right away XD
Okay, let me get some breath...
Well. Yes. How should I start? XD I'm simply flashed all over with this amazing artwork. Every single day of waiting was worth it!
I couldn't imagine til the end what you will do (in your drawing style) with his wings and to compare them with pterosaurs is an interesting idea I really like. All in all I love your way to draw his wings! (And his body of course <3) The size in comparison to his body, the way you did the green wing tips and the 'veins' - and his muscles and - I just stop this and say: simply THANK YOU for taking him in care for this picture, the outcome is awesome and I'll stare at it for some more minutes... hours... just dunno, but I will enjoy this happiness for a bit longer *_*
And I really like how you managed the icy mountains and the background fitting to him.

The mountain veiw matches so well with Draco! It's wings are fascinating because of its size and 7 fingers on each side. The anatomy can't get any better!!! ^v^

The wing anatomy is fantastic! I like this guy's variation on the "ordinary" bat-wing design. Your textures and colors and subtle veining are also great. Lovely work, as always!
