~~~Realistic Shaded Epic Scene Commission for featuring Nerys Windborn, the dragon huntress!
Looove how this one turned out. I honestly feel like this is one of my best pieces to date. I really enjoyed working with the muted, limited colour scheme, and how Nerys' simple design really let me play with the pose and shading and textures~ Also, forest! I really nailed the atmosphere. B)

the draw (right) hand is in an incorrect placement. the fingers actually don't hold the arrow at all; they just lightly hold the string, as close to the center as possible without touching the arrow, and usually the string falls around the first knuckle of the pointer, middle, and ring fingers. the nock is what actually keeps the arrow in place.
also, i would say that at full draw, the bowstring would likely be at a more severe angle where nerys is holding it. i would say that it's because she's not actually at full draw, but the placement of her arms indicates that she is.
you are under no obligation whatsoever to change this, but i wanted to speak up because it was making me twitchy

I honestly want to know your time limit on finishing this master peice? My God it take me 2 weeks to draw something similar as yours! You keep learning something new, then again you've been doing this for years, and drawen many forms of dragons even similar ones ^^
The position of this huntress is ready to catch her target, and the them wings can't get any better! I love how the environment is such detailed on the smallest parts of thee tree! Your quite the 1# artist in this community! ^v^
