~~~Completed Ultimate Reference Sheet featuring my Space Angel Dragon character, Spirit!
I'm very happy to have this finished. I've been meaning to get around to this since September, but active duty flying and Ultimate Refs doesn't always mix too well.
Anyway, here we have all three Spirit's forms on one sheet. Feral is Galactic, Anthro is Nebula, and her 'altered state' is Dark Energy Form. I got to research a lot of astronomy for this sheet. :3
This gal is so much fun to work on. Translating her markings from anthro to feral was interesting, but it looks good. Her chest delta markings are difficult to see in feral form as they wrap around her shoulders and meet underneath the armpits. I considered adding some designs to her feral wings, and I may in the future, but she's quite complex as is and I don't want to over-clutter her design.
I'm really looking forward to drawing more of this gal. ^^ She contrasts with many of the other dragons and creatures I draw, as she's slim and dainty, and I'm so used to drawing strong, angular critters. I love-love-love her tiny feets. <3

Spirit, (anthro form,) is currently made into a partial fursuit and owned by myself. The fullsuit is in progress, (maker has been in an accident.) I am the sole owner of this fursuit, and other parties are not authorized to make a fursuit of Spirit.

First of all, really cool design. I really love the colors, I really get that spacey vibe. Plus it's good to see people put thought into their charaters instead of 'Here's thing. Do I get favs now?'
But the Dark Energy form bothers me. Cause if the amount of dark energy around her increased, wouldn't mean that the atoms in her body would be torn apart quite quickly?
And dark energy has a really small mass (6.91 × 10−27 kg/m3) so how would her weight increase?
It's quite possible that I'm wrong, but I couldn't help but point it out.

Ah, forgive me if my science isn't 100% accurate! What I intend in her Dark Energy form is that, rather than Dark Energy itself increasing, her own energy levels increase, (for example, her powers to manipulate space-time and change forms.) What causes her energy levels to spike is unknown, hence why it's referred to as 'Dark Energy' since Dark Energy itself is hypothetical and is used to explain the expansion of the Universe. So since Spirit's energy levels are essentially expanding, it only makes sense to refer to the cause of this as Dark Energy. Her weight increasing isn't directly tied to her energy levels increasing, as it's a separate power or component that she can control.
At least that's how I like to explain it. ^^ I hope that makes sense! Thanks for letting me know!

Ah, that's a great question! The answer of which I didn't think to add on her ref.
She subsists mostly from matter and energy, and in space she can live almost entirely off of energy waves and cosmic dust, I.e; silica, ice, dust, minerals, etc, trace amounts that she can essentially 'forage' for in the vacuum or from objects such as asteroids, gaseus clouds, and even the tails of comets.
So basically, she really doesn't need to breathe on earth. And when she does so, it's more for her to inhale, again, the trace amounts of water and solids like dust and minerals from the air. This makes her very susceptible to illness in highly polluted areas, since, rather than simply respirating, her body attempts to digest the pollutants.
In short, she 'eats' the tiny matter particles in space and in our air.
