~~~Ref sheet comish for HildeHydra of FA of her new Nightmare Dragon, Mortality, who was just adopted from me. ^^
A Build-Your-Own ref sheet. Flat colours, full-body shot and head-shot, and I added in a nice reflective floor and also my first drawing of Mort in the background because she's so fancy. ^^ She was definitely one of my favourites of the Nightmare Dragon adopts, and I'm happy to do some more artwork of her!

I'm guessing the digits that the largest claws are on were intended to be on the outside of the paws rather than the inside, but I was wondering why you did this? just a curiosity since it seems a little unnatural for a paw / hand like structure. Unless they used to be pinky-digits and have migrated back for this purpose?

Yeah, they're just like pinkies that have shifted position to become higher up toward the wrist. ^^ That way they can be lifted above the ground, and then the dragon can use both them and her thumbs to grab/stab prey.

Awesome >XD Glad I guessed the purpose correctly. I personally find them very odd looking, but then again I think humans look quite odd compared to a beetle
