Hi again. Well whatdya know, the dragons have pads on their wings! I have never thought of that, let alone seen many dragons with that! I assume this is for dragons that live in cliffs or trees :3

It can be, for sure. ^^ It's more just a stylistic choice of mine as I like to emphasize that the dragon's wing 'fingers' are just that, fingers! :> So I like to add the extra details of claws and potentially gripping paw-pads.

I absolutely love this, especially because of the wing placement note you made X3 way too many people get that wrong

If I had a four armed dragon that had wings also, how would I do that? Would it still be in normal places with an additional arm coming from the socket at the front along with the original arm or would it have to be someplace else? Like further down the torso or could it be just behind the original arm socket?

TwilightSaint In reply to ToXicWildcat [2016-07-01 01:13:47 +0000 UTC]
The second set of arms would have to be set farther back behind the first set. Similar to the wings, they'd need their own muscles and bones, and thus space for those muscles and bones without interfering with the other limbs. ^^. The torso would have to be lengthened just a bit.

How about 3 fingers for hind paws? Would that count as an incorrect anatomy representation or the number of fingers a dragon's hind paws can have can vary?
π: 0 β©: 1
TwilightSaint In reply to Libertades [2016-02-28 15:58:30 +0000 UTC]
Oh, no way. ^^ I just normally give my dragons 4-5 digits, since I base them off of some mammalian traits. Β But I've also worked with dragon species with 2-6+ digits. Β

That's wonderful to hear! ^^ Β And yep, I'm planning on updating my older Tuts, (Dragon Feet, and Scales,) and making more tuts that focus on different aspects of anatomy such as wings, heads, etc.
