This is a simple still life done in a mix of ink and ink washes showing a somewhat morbid scene. Normally, I'd leave something like this off of DA, but I like this one.
The interesting thing about this piece is that I was not allowed to use a pen or a brush, or any traditional tools at all. We were told to go outside, grab whatever we could find that was organic; twigs , leaves, braches full of dying leaves, rocks, grass, plants, whatever. Then taking those materials we had to recreate the scene in front of us as "closely" as possible. (Though I zoomed in on this specific area). The lines were done with a shattered twig, while the ink washes were applied with a few dried leaves.

That sounds like an interesting and stretching method of drawing! I think desolate is a good title for this. The funny thing is, I do get a feeling of the shattered twig you used to do this via looking at it... which I suppose is a compliment.
