hehe I don't think that's true but I can see where you're coming from. your art is really nice but pony related fanart always gives pieces a boost of exposure. ever just want to do a 'little something different today~! not pony!' hehe but that's not this accounts style is it? lol to be honest I'm sure your watchers would still appreciate your art even if it's not pony related.

Ahaha.. well, I don't know about that.. like I said earlier, my drawing has no uniqueness..! So, I'm not sure if a non pony related drawing would satisfy my watchmen, considering they only watch me because ponies..!

no uniqueness? hehe isn't it unique in that it's well drawn and is cute/pretty? hehe I don't know about that, well... i guess that's possible. for me anyway, pony work is what pulls me in and the art keeps me watching. haha I mean... i find the artist through pony stuff and watch them because I like their art style and if they make art for other series i like with the same quality then it's all good

haha no way~ your drawings are totally cute and there's always a market for cute art. it's not like you make pony art with a hit or miss art style that is only looked at because it's pony related. cute is pretty universal so I'm sure you'd still have your audience. but... you may be right that there are those who make great art with top quality and it goes unappreciated but I don't that's true for you

I mean sure pony stuff draws in the pony fans but I think your art is good enough that it'd draw in an audience for you just based on what you make with your skills. Hahah.. well, when I first started learning to draw, I begin from the very easiest art style I could find back then.. because if I went straight for the amazing artists and tried to imitate their works, I wouldn't know how to do it even if I watch them draw live..!
So~.. when a beginner use my drawing as reference to their drawing practice, it must be because my drawing is the easiest to imitate..! And they use me as their stepping stone..!

actually... i can see why people would want to use your drawings as references. your drawings are really clean and you draw bodies really well. like you actually draw hands and feet and proportional bodies. and you draw faces with good expressions as well. heck your posing and centering are nice too.

uwah... boggles my mind how you can say you don't think your drawings are good. are you sure about that? I mean... yea I think they're cute but it's kinda hard to deny how good your drawings are technically. like how well you're able to draw bodies, and hands. there's so many people out there who just can't draw hands or lower bodies so they just avoid it all together. I'm sure I'm just repeating myself but you do a lot of things well that people have trouble with.
to me i think your pretty skilled. you usually see people who are good at sketching, or good at coloring or shading. but you seem to be pretty good at all three which I think is pretty rare. yea your art is cute but to me as an artist you're pretty impressive.

Ahahahaha..! Well, you said my drawing are clean, good body proportion (which I doubt), and the hands.. well, take a look at all base drawings, itβs all just like what you just said..! Eheheh..!
Well, to say the least, as an artist Iβm jack of all trades and master of none.. I can do all three but just so-so at each..! And I know Iβm just repeating myself, but the Living Legends mastered all three..! Mwahahaha.!

ehh...? you really think you don't draw good body proportions? but... your characters bodies actually look like human beings lol. haha I really can't tell if you're serious or you're just messing around. I mean... how can you say that? lol. just looking at the bodies you draw and they look pretty good. things like length of arms and legs and torso length comparing top half to lower half. even things like length of hand from wrist to fingertip or back of foot to tip of toes look right. the way you draw bodies just makes them look really natural. like real human bodies and not exaggerated cartoon bodies.
ehh... I get not wanting to sound cocky and saying your 'master' level but you gotta admit that your individual skills are still pretty high level and solid. then again I don't think it's a bad thing to be well rounded in several things rather than be really good at a particular thing. like red mage compared to the black or white mage. red mage aren't super good at either but they're still pretty awesome because they have a variety of skills

I've been trying to draw close to the show's style, that is with petite body, elongated legs and arms, and big head.. and keep failing miserably at it..!
And, again, if I'm Red Mage, who isn't quite good but has certain points, then those Legends are Arch Mage..! Nay, they're even Arch Sage..! Ahahaha..!

whaaaat you actually want to draw show accurate equestria girls? but... your style of equestria girls are so much cuter! xD haha but when you see people do equestria girls fanart they just go ahead and abstract it. like danmakuman for example when you look at the things they draw it's like equestria girls style and they look like the characters but not show accurate.

Yeah.. well that's what makes them unique.. they are the Living Legends who each has their own uniqueness in their artworks..!
But mine..? Well, it's nothing but plain anime-ish sketches.. so, it's just like I said; I'm failing miserably at drawing show accurate EG drawings..!
Well, out of the Legends there, the only one humble enough to speak with me is Danmakuman, and he did express how he likes my drawing.. Well, indeed the-butcher-x also watch my stuff, and uotapo liked my clothing swap Pinkie and Fluttershy drawings..
But come on..! I'm not even on the same league with them..! They are the League of Legends..! pfffwahahahahaha..!

Heheh.. yup.. my drawing might look cute and all, but what is there..? What makes it different than any other drawings out there..? "Anime-ish", "look pretty distinct.." it's just technical..! Nothing conceptual in my drawing..!
Uotapo made "Sunset Helper" art, not only the drawing is very good, but in it, it also shows that Sunset doing her best to make it up for what she's done..! You can even feel the air there..!
Now look at my drawing, forget all the "look" and what do you see there..? Nuttin' but a tooth..! Ahahaha..! What does that phrase mean..?
Well, if anything, I'm just self-conscious about my drawing..! So yeah, they're not that far above me, they are really really far above me..! Ahahahaha..!

hehe I think you already know that though. where it's kind of the opposite of uotapo's work where the story that they're telling is pretty clear and intentional. but with your work the story in the drawing is more than what little you see. wonder if that makes sense, well what i'm trying to get at is when you look at one of uotapo's works the story is pretty set, and there's not much room to deviate. while in yours any of a million things could be going on. hehe for example that picture you have with the sunny and crusader trio looking at the blueprint? i don't know why but in my head I imagined that sunset was an architect and the crusader girls were doing their usual crazy fun plan and this time they wanted sunset's advice on the structure of the device they were building so it'd be more stable. i think I imagined them trying to build a rocket ship or something... lol.Β

Well anyway, though indeed it is my intention to just leave my drawings like that so people can make their own interpretation, I just feel like it's not really flowing.. as if each pic is a standalone pic..! I mean, it's like you really need to know what actually is happening to be able to connect each pic..!

hehe maybe you should tell someone that all the equestria girls drawings are actually all connected and see what kind of story they come up with. think that'd be a real adventure. they won't know what is going on each image or even the chronological order of them lol. they'd probably come up with a really wild story. it reminds me of those picture books that just has pictures and story but no words so the reader just has work it out on their own

Naaah~..! I will tell them if they ask, but some prefer to just enjoy them..! And besides, I haven't really publish anything about the main story of my headcanon.. about Sunny's plan and all.. I don't know why, maybe because I am too.. lazy..? Ahahaha..!
But yes, I bet some would make a quite interesting out of my drawings.. but so far, none of them has.. ahaha..!
Anyway, yeah.. I do think so..! But.. what do I know, really..? Heheh..
But yes, I too think sometimes they may feel quite.. "self-conscious".. but what I think is, those pros are not worried about their drawings.. but the ideas..! I've seen quite a lot of artists, even a pro mangaka, using the same "pattern" for their story.. and feel "is it okay for me to keep using same thing over and over again..?" Ahahah..!
The pros may have a creative team, but for standalone artists like many mangaka in Japan, it could be quite frustrating..!
