i know you said you were kiddin but my money would be on rainbow dash. simply put shes got more experience at flying and has developped her wing power over her lifetime. to be honest id be kinda pissed if they tried to claim twi was even close to dashies wing power without any training what so ever.

Exactly! It would be a funny joke at the end of an episode if Twilight pretended to slip into the royal tongue before correcting herself and making everyone laugh, as it happens so often at the end of so many episodes.

Indeed. I'm still on the halfway point of Princess Alicorn Twilight myself, but I really would love to love her as much as I do Student Unicorn Twilight. There's much potential there, which I hope they explore to its fullest as best as they can. Not that the series has disappointed yet (except the lack of Rarity episodes last season, but unfortunately their hands were tied since she's not exactly the most favorite pony and the season was so short to start with), but with any change there's expectations to be met.

Hm, I think its mostly because they had to cram so much plot and character development into a twenty-two minute show, minus commercials. If they had the luxury of a two-part episode, they might have been able to slow the pace down. The musical aspect managed to slide through the more complicated scenes like Celestia explaining why Twilight is about to become a princess, but it does so at expensive of concepts that really do require explanation, such as what it means to be an Alicorn in the series.

Hm. I'm not sure why, but they probably didn't want to spend another one of the very few thirteen episodes of Season 3 on one plot line, however important it actually was. Perhaps the reason why the season was so short was because the budget was cut short due to the new MLP series, Equestria Girls and, as a result, there was such a push to force out the season finale in one episode? I've already heard talk of a movie in the making, but I'm not as sure about that.
Personally, I wish they had cut that Applejack & Spike episode from the season and replaced it with a second half for the finale. The first Spike episode of the season wasn't nearly as interesting or worth re-watching as the second one involving the CMC. Maybe that way, there would be less chaos in the community about Alicorn Princess Twilight.

Best of luck to them indeed! I'm interested on how a Friendship is Magic movie would be marketed. It is a movie about talking horses after all and while the community is large, its unlikely Hasbro will try to sell it to anyone outside it and the intended child audience. So its probably not going to have all the coverage of a blockbuster summer film. Maybe a televised movie event?

Actually the video comes out first it's part of the Rainbow Dash presents series on youtube and it is definitely worth checking out more of them. They do send ups of popular fanfics like rainbow factory and bubbles. The whole thing is actually a spin off from another internet series called the mentally advanced series which is no longer availiable on youtube unfortunately.
