IDW kind of rollercoasters in quality sometimes and some writers have made some outright idiotic decisions like making this one white male GI Joe character, Salvo into a Samoan woman because he felt to "alt-right" to the writer... I'm all for diversity... ...but not like this... I mean I don't know how iconic Salvo is but that's just such a dumb reason to change a character that drastically, especially when they could have just killed him off and replaced him or something.

I see.. well, thank you for writing all that information..! I don't really read comics, so I know really close to nothing about IDW.. or any other publishers..!
But, wow..! That respond letter from IDW is a bit, uhh, 'funny'.. letting the writers put anything they want, even if IDW themselves have no knowledge behind the references.. and look at what happened..! That's the price of too much freedom.. hahaha..!
Anyway.. well, if what Ted made is so bad, maybe even the worst.. then anything I could make would be at least not as bad~..! Heheh..!

Tony Fleccs is also still employed by IDW as far as I can tell too. He's one of the two artists on the Rick and Morty/Dungeons & Dragons crossover. At least his art style is better suited for Rick and Morty, but the shortcuts he takes that are still a problem. On the other hand Aubrey Sitterson, the person who changed Salvo in G.I. Joe was promptly fired after that stunt and the book was canceled due to poor sales as a result of the change but because it's modern day he naturally complained about it being alt-righters being out to get liberal artists even though it was his own damn fault the book sold poorly by inserting the sort of politics that a lot of people are sick of having shoved in their faces (because really that method is not going to change anyone's minds who aren't already on their side to begin with) and drastically changing a character for a dumb reason. Maybe he shouldn't have tried writing for a franchise with inherently conservative-leaning themes that naturally appeals more to conservatives? >.>
