.. I really don't know why.. but when I was in the middle of this, I suddenly lost my passion..ah well.. it's better than nothing, so I put this up.. or maybe is it better nothing than an unfinished task..?
anyway.. I'll draw something else later..

Shimmer's always been so vigilant and secretive, avoiding herself from being seen by the main cast,
but Fluttershy's vampiric sense of smell led her to this unexpected meeting ..

Fluttershy obviously loves having her nose rubbed, in this case with a hanky. The fact that Sunset Shimmer is the one doing it for her clearly makes it even more enjoyable, and even though the hanky may not matter, that doesn't stop it from being any less cute.
Though it would have been nice to see this picture finished fully, it still looks nice regardless.

I hid those other comments because I felt like I missed the point of the picture entirely, I just enjoy seeing noses in hankies, that's all.

everybody loves sunset shimmer no matter how serious she is or happy she is she will be always a likeable characters

no hun, like you drew the red haired one with more detail and being more 'realistic' but leaving it unfinished mostly with the pink haired girl, its almost like the red head is reaching into a drawing herself or a painting and interacting with the subject.
Its imagination dearie, i know it couldn't happen but still, their have been many people who wish it could.
Out of curiosity, if it was possible for you to do so, to paint anything or anyone and reach into the painting... what or who would you paint?

Well, talking about imagination, we are now living in the age where technology has advanced rapidly it has broken the boundary between reality and imagination..
It may not be easy to turn your imagination into reality, but it sure is possible..!

i do, id paint a lot of people i have lost and pets that have died. People I miss.Β
I would paint a lot of things in a painting like that. The only problem would be is that i wouldn't know where to start a painting like that.Β

Their are many things even in America. I wish for superhero's... every day, but guess what... they still don't exist. I know people don't need super powers to be super heroes in real life... but the world as we know it doesn't allow it, those heroes end up dead or facing fates worse than death in life, being sabotaged... I want a world where things don't work like that. I know it doesn't exist as things are now, anywhere on this planet, especially not in America. I want it to though.Β
Find something that calls to you, or let it find you... either way, dream big, imagine, and shoot for the stars, oh and don't limit yourself. No matter what that drawing was beautiful. Don't put yourself down, and hey... you might even enjoy exploring learning other styles.

Just because we see things differently doesn't mean i don't understand what you are saying. We have lived two different lives from one another and have had to face different perspectives of life in that time. Even people who grow up together have differences in how they personally see it.Β
I am aloud to see this differently but still know what you mean. The purpose of telling you how i see it is mutual understanding(a major point to conversation) since you have already said how you see it or don't see it which is more telling than i think perhaps you even know, at least to me.Β

Hun this started out as a compliment because their are people who try for years and never get that sort of impression given in a painting. now granted i am not one of those people, however it was a compliment.Β
The fact that you have given up on hopes and dreams or believing people have anything left to learn or do that they have not done or learned yet... that was only brought up because in saying it, in expressing it myself you refuted me. So, i questioned why, and admittedly assume either you are a child who has been told only of limits and not possibilities, those can grow up into adults with similar mind sets... or an adult who has lost all hope in the human race and become 'if it hasn't been done then it can't be done' in mind set.Β
As an artist who routinely does impressionism... i was complimenting you. From my point of view the impression left by a painting of any kind is important. My style is about the impression, but this leaves an impression most artists who have never painted traditionally and have only done digitally don't know. I started as a traditional artist and while some purely digital artists get it... well not even all traditional artists get it. Its about the impression, the way it makes you feel, the emotions expressed in it. What is expressed could be unconscious or consciously expressed in that painting(though typically the artist knows, sometimes with me i notice something after the fact but for the most part i know already what im expressing). Sometimes in my experience the paintings we ourselves like the least and consider the least skilled works are the ones people like the best. It is all about personal taste and the artists style. Some artists don't find their own personal style until they dabble in different styles and just let go, then refine it if they feel that is what is needed and enjoy it... painting is like that. Digitally or traditionally.Β
So, stop arguing with me. Unfinished or not i like it. it sparks the imagination, expresses to me a longing you yourself might feel at times(i mean do you ever wish they ponies were real? I think all fandoms are like that, because the world is full of corruption and evil and people long for heroes and more goodness in the world... because they fall in love with a character in some way or simply the idea of that character. Some want a guy or gal like that and some simply wish to have friends who truly are that loyal to one another. Remember, im not looking at your art from your point of view. Im looking at it from mine. I can speculate, try to figure it out but in the end only you can say, but that doesn't change what it means to me. For the record im not a fan of my little pony, at my age if i was id be called childish. it was your painting that got my attention, not the characters themselves. The only reason i even know what it is, is because my little boys loved playing with little ponies(my little pony, ponies).Β
