(I would like to first apologize for all the text, there's just so much I have to say!)

Well, after what seemed like an eternity, my alarm clock a.k.a "Project Baby" (ask The-Titan) is finally finished! roud:

This clock took me about three to four weeks to complete, though I took a week off to work on other projects, and I'm rather pleased of just how well it turned out. It was originally just going to tell the time, but as I worked on it, I kept adding more and more, thus the delay.

There are also few features that might not be visible at first glance, for example:

1. There is a different alarm sound for every day of the week.

2. The chime is hourly, so don't sit there wondering why it didn't go off when you pushed the button, okay?

3. To set the alarm, you have to push "set", then input the hours and minutes, then push "set" again to go back to real time.

4. You can cycle the Am and the Pm with the hours only. The minutes will not affect it. (I found that it made it easier to work with)

5. The alarm will end after the song has played through, it won't loop.

6. Also, you can turn off the alarm with the spacebar or enter keys, you don't have to turn the alarm off completely to stop the music.

7. This alarm will save your settings! That way when you open it again, all your precious changes will still be there. (as far as I know, this is the first flash alarm clock to do this. Please let me know if I'm wrong, okay? )

A big thank you goes out to my mother, without her pushing me to do my best, this project would have probably ended up like every other generic clock on the web. My father, for putting up with my staying up all night hogging the internet looking for tutorials and lessons. And especially my brother, he may not realize it, but he helped me out of so many of tight spots.

I would also like to express my thanks to everyone at the Flashers chatroom, especially FlameReaper, The-Titan, and VIPwnt for all the scripting advice and morale boosts.

And that's it! I hope you all like it!

I love the alarm!! (I set it to a minute from when I looked at it to hear it.) You did a really good job, I may try and figure out to get it on my computer... if I can? I see a download button.. I will try it after this comment.

Nonetheless, there is no reason to thank me for anything. I knew you would and could get it done, and you definitely did an amazing job at it. Definitely worth the work in my opinion.

Thank you so much for all the compliments! I'm so glad that it's gotten such a warm reception, I was afraid that it wouldn't work properly online. And actually, I'm planning on turning it into a widget some time in the near future. (though first I have to find a program, then figure out how it works.)

Awesome work!

To tell you the truth, i was just expecting another one of those flash clocks you see all over the internet, but this is AWESOME!

Thanks! It's actually because I was tired of seeing all those generic clocks stewn throughout the internet that I made this, to see if I could add some variety into the mix.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm sorry to say that right now this alarm clock would not run on your desktop, though I have been thinking about turning it into a full-fledged desktop widget some time in the near future. And I'll make sure to tell you if I do.

And Happy Valentines to you too!

Definitely! I'm so glad you like it. And I've already got it converted to a widget, but I'm just having a few problems with it saving the information. Once I get that fixed though, it'll be ready for distribution!

What do you mean by download into an mp4 though? Do you want just the music? If so, I'll just send you the links to songs.

It's too bad you can't hear the alarm, today's is a particularly good one. I'm glad you still like it though!
