What is the point of a tutorial on unwatching the deviations of a group?
Not everyone can handle a lot of deviations in their inboxes.
Some people prefer to look at group galleries at their own pace.
A lot of people are in more than one group. Not all groups regulate their submissions as strictly as #UnseenArtists , which can really add up if you're in a lot of groups.

i get around 150-300 images a day :]]
i am tempted to unwatch some groups, but i prefer not to. because you never know when you stumble upon a great photograph or drawing. so i prefer to patiently browse through all of them and fave what i like

I do it with a few groups that have a lot of members but don't have submission or quality controls and some of the groups that get the same submissions as another I'm in. It makes it a bit easier to focus on other, smaller groups and avoid seeing doubles.

I watch as memever all of this, but I unwatch particulary all for deviations. I love to watch only best of the best for me - groups with rare interests or fanclubs x3

I admit I'm tempted to unwatch groups when I'm flooded, but then I see an AWESOME picture which makes me think, "Dang, art this good is practically what I joined dA for..." and so I keep it 'cause if I were to drown, I'd go down in awesomeness.

Yeah, I'm kinda like that too. Especially since, unlike some people, I'm not on dA every couple of days. I might get on once a week or so.
So I end up with like WHOA deviations.

This tutorial is a real lifesaver! As much as I want to view and comment on all of the pictures that're in my message centre, I get overwhemled by the sheer number of all the submissions, as some groups submit up to 20 deviations daily! Didn't know you could do all that with the arrow in the corner...
This is gonna seem corny, but I'm gonna fave this, becouse I find this tutorial that useful!

You know, I belong to two of these groups and have never submitted anything. I always go through and look at what comes in my inbox though!

lol, I would imagine that would become frustrating. It would be cool if all deviations were automatically sorted by group, even if you click the messages link rather than the deviations one. That might make it easier to keep track and temporarily ignore the ones you don't want to see at the moment. Sometimes I do just sign on for a quick peek at the people I follow, and don't like going through other stuff to get to it.

Sometimes, I feel like dA's 'thumbnail view' option is more of a curse than a blessing, so I'm hoping this helps.

Huh, I didn't even notice that little dropdown arrow there...
But even then, I keep the submissions in my inbox until I've looked at them, though I admit deleting those with a thumbnail that doesn't get my attention... Which still leaves a big pile of submissions for me to check.

As I see it, I 'block' them temporarily, so I can check them on weekends (for me)

Umm, I don't see the point. Why would I Watch anyone or join any group if I didn't wanted to see deviations? Inbox is the best way to see deviations I want to see.
