Name Meaning: Little Lathar (feminine form of Latar, which has no direct English equivalent but is some kind of creature native to the original homeworld of the Drule race.)
Nickname: Laha (childhood), "Crazy B****" (Sailor Metal)

Latharha was born to the first concubine of King Latar the Scourge, ruler of Planet Xanbaja in the 14th Sector of the Drule Empire. She was the third of his surviving children, the elder two having been married off to politically competing kingdoms in other sectors of the Empire, and her other twenty-seven siblings having been the victims of assassination. Like most Drule of royal birth, she and her sisters were trained in the arts of combat and military tactics by trusted generals and tutors from an early age in preparation to lead lives of military conquest and acquisition for the good of the great Drule Empire.

Latharha became very fond of strategy over outright combat, leading many to believe she was weak-willed and cowardly, things unbefitting a proper Drule princess. However, Latharha more than made up for her failure to display her combat prowess publicly in the viciousness and efficiency of dispatching her assassins and their masters. Her aging father was most delighted by this turn of events, proclaiming that here was one who would rule as their ancestor, Mabja the Flesh-Render, had done in days of yore: with cunning and ruthlessness from a throne built on the backs of her murdered challengers.

When the Crystal of Domination was unearthed in the Shrines of Darkness on the Drule homeworld, she eagerly leaped at the chance to advance her power and prestige among the nobility of the Empire and made her way to the Shrines. There, she endured days of lethal combat against ladies, fellow princesses, and queens of the various sectors of the Empire. Ultimately, it was Latharha's preference for strategic victory to open combat that allowed her to confidently secure the crystal and title of Sailor Doom.

As her father's surviving unmarried daughter, Latharha enjoys the position of general of his space fleet and head of strategic interplanetary acquisition. She is quite happy with this position and very proud of her conquests and victories to date, routinely planning expansions of the 14th Sector into Unfederated Territory. She is depicted here on one such expansion campaign.

She does not, however, enjoy dealing with diplomatic relations regarding other Sailor Senshi (the Neo Moon Kingdom, in particular), as they find her referencing how she is a proper Drule leader horrifying in the extreme. She is also quite unfamiliar with Earth culture, having had only limited contact with it.
