Senshi Name: Sailor Doom
Name Origin: Senshi of Annihilation
Power Type: Energy/plasma

Sailor Doom (Princess Latharha) is the solo senshi of the Drule Empire and current holder of the Crystal of Domination. She obtained this status through combat against other ladies and princesses of the Drule Empire. She is a capable fighter and a skilled tactician (serving as the General of her father's space fleet), so she adapted to being a senshi with relative ease. The Crystal of Domination allows her to draw power in scale to the population of the Empire, which spans more than 14 sectors and more than 40 habitable planets; however, the warlike nature of her people and their ability to largely defend themselves means she has never had to draw more than a fraction of that power potential. She is considered a powerful and dangerous senshi, but more for her warrior culture and arrogant attitude than actual ability.

Outside of the borders of the Empire, she often pals around with Sailor Metal, the only senshi from the Neo-Moon Empire and it's allied senshi that she views as an honorable and proper warrior by Drule standards. She met Sailor Metal while the other senshi was in the middle of a bar fight and was immediately curious about this senshi who was completely unlike all the others she'd had the displeasure of meeting to that point. Sailor Metal is the closest thing she has to a friend, under the Earth definition.

STORY TIMES:

"This will be fun," Latharha said, the faint beginnings of a smile gracing the corners of her mouth.

Sailor Metal was standing behind her in civilian form (Madde, the human, the contradiction she did not understand), facing another one of their attackers. She said nothing, though Latharha supposed she was frowning.

The Crystal of Domination hummed with power beneath her breastbone and Latharha pressed her lips together, smiling through her teeth. Yes, yes, it was time, she thought and, as if it could sense her desire, the crystal flooded her with energy, transforming her into Sailor Doom. A twitch of her fingers and she manifested an axe in her right hand.

She could smell the subtle, acrid smell of smoke from behind her, and she knew Sailor Metal was now transformed too.

"Let's dance!" Metal said and was suddenly moving, a thing of unrestrained violence and abilities out of control.

It was her cue and Sailor Doom didn't miss it, leaping into the fray with delight as she swung the axe in one hand. Plasma rippled from her other hand in bolts of flesh-searing pink light (the simple invocation was practically instinct now) and, soon enough, the fight spilled out into space, leaving the sector fueling station bar behind.

Again, Sailor Doom started to smile, plasma bolt in one hand and the axe ready in the other. These poor sods didn't stand a chance, but she would indulge their desire to fight. She would show them how a true warrior fought and it would be glorious.

"For the Empire!" she shouted and launched at her enemies.
