Description Doing again! This time with the poor baby that is one of the few I have who Probably Shouldn't Have become a Magical Girl. I AM ALSO RUNNING A BIT LATE BECAUSE WORK. This was mostly ready to go, except for some minor stuff. ALSO THIS IS VERY D&D. AND I APOLOGIZE TO THE DRAGONLANCE FANDOM I LOVE YOU I SWEAR.

Name: Gabriela Dei Draghi (nicknamed Gabby)
Age: 18
Date of Birth: March 18

Senshi Name: Sailor Takhisis
Realm of Influence: Destruction, Law, Trickery, Chromatic Dragons, Lawful Evil (technically)
Powers/Abilities:

Innate:
Clairvoyance/psychometry - Gabby has had precognitive visions and dreams since her childhood and was known to have an "imaginary" friend that turned out to be a ghost. After her father's death, which she saw as it happened in a vision, she'd blocked out the visions. As a teen, the ability returned with a vengeance and she began to get visions or flashes from touching objects or from contact with another person.
Null-Magic Detection - Gabby's location is not able to be pinpointed by magical means. Sometimes, normal compasses may skew around her. The ability is passive and she is not even aware of it.

Senshi: Elemental Attacks corresponding to the colors of each of the five chromatic dragons associated with Takhisis (represented by the ribbons on her helmet), use of the empowered divine weapon, Crusher of Hope. As she is a relatively new senshi with a newly minted sailor crystal, much of her powers are still unknown, even to her!
Blue Dragon: Cone of Lighting
Red Dragon: Cone of Fire
Green Dragon: Cone of Chlorine Gas
Black Dragon: Cone of Acid
White Dragon: Cone of Ice
Weapon: Crusher of Hope - a small warhammer that can turn into a heavy mace that is capable of intense crushing damage. It might also be able to fly under her direction, but she's not quite sure how that works or if that was a one-time thing.

Personality Overview:

Gabby is generally a cheerful girl, who enjoys basketball and pizza. She is also forceful and determined. She dreams of having adventures and maybe a little romance, which is normal for her age, she supposes. She is sentimental, keeping things that remind her of certain memories, and is close to both her mother and best friend.Β  Her visions bother her, as do the increasing number of weird things happening around her. She keeps her precognitive ability a secret out of a desire to be seen as normal and tries to soldier on, even going so far as to march straight through visions, in a stubborn effort to ignore them.

Brief History:

Gabby was born on Earth, in a small town in upstate New York. It was very clear early on that she was uniquely gifted with the ability to see things that others could not. Her father died while she was still young, as did her grandfather, and her mother raised her from there.

As a teen, Gabby was enrolled in Saint Anastasia Academy for Boys and Girls, a private boarding school. She remained there for her high school academic career and played basketball for the school's team. She also became best friends with another girl in the school, named Ceci, and they enjoy a close relationship.

In the early part of her final year, she met an unusual transfer student named Merllun Uth Velgar, who rapidly formed an attachment to her. Despite warnings from both Ceci and her visions, Gabby grew closer to him, unaware that he was actually an agent of a fringe cult of former Knights of Neraka and intent on bringing her to them to resurrect the fallen goddess, Takhisis, as Gabby, bless her heart, was unlucky enough to have been born with the spirit of a deceased goddess hidden in her soul.

In the course of the entire misadventure, Gabby managed to tap into that power and transformed into a sailor senshi.

Participant Questionnaire

1. Please take a moment to introduce yourself to us.

Hello, I'm Gabby! Senior at Saint Anastasia's and forward extraordinaire! And that didn't sound cool at all. Ugh. Um, soooooo, yeah, I'm new to the Sailor Senshi thing and I'm not quite sure how this all works.

2. Tell us something that will help us remember you.

I'm an ex-goddess who talks to ghosts?

3. Describe your typical day.

I get jumped on by my best friend to wake me up, then I go to classes, and there's Merllun, and then there's basketball practice and pizza! We also sometimes hang out at the mall, but it's so far away! And now... well, it mostly involves portals. And magic. And there are a lot of people who want a piece of Takhisis, like wow. How is it that you all manage a normal life and senshi stuff? I mean, I'm feeling a bit pulled in all directions. Maybe it'll be easier in college?

4. What makes you happy and what makes you scared?

I... Well, that is, I enjoy being with my friends and family, and all of that.Β  But there's also that feeling, now that I'm using this power... like I'm flying and it's amazing, but... but it's also scary. I could love it. I could. But the visions... I'm afraid, sometimes. Of myself. Takhisis wasn't nice and how can I be her? I don't feel like I am, but I'm afraid I could be. Or, you know, become like her.

5. What do you find most challenging about being a senshi?

A lot! I don't really understand how this all works. I mean, is it instinct or do I have to make up spells? And it's super weird trying to get used to these guys [indicates her ribbons, which appear to be moving on their own]. It feels like they should have weight or get caught but they don't! And it doesn't make any sense, to be honest.

6. Who is your role model and how do they inspire you?

My grandfather, who taught me that my faith in myself is a strength that I can always carry with me. It's something I keep very close to my heart.

7. What would you name your autobiography?

You Probably Should Have Listened to the Ghost and it's thrilling sequel, That Wasn't Supposed To Happen. Followed by the exciting saga, At Least You Have No Idea What a Kender Is. Because I do and I'm honestly in shock.

8. Do you believe in fate/destiny, or do you believe you write your own story?

I really thought I could write my own story and I'm trying, but people keep trying to bring back The Big Bad. And I'm not okay with that. So... you could say me and destiny are having creative differences? It thinks I'm in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign and I'm pretty sure I'm in a JRPG.

9. Do you have other teammates? What are they like? If not, do you wish you had some?

Well, there's this knight, right? A magic knight, like some of the guys in this pageant. And he feels like my brother, okay, but I'm an only child, so... you can understand that this is a little weird for me.

And then we have the rest of my crew, who are all normal [laughs]. Ceci, I love you, but you are a normal, honey.

[pauses] No, wait, I take it back - the ghost isn't. He's a wizard and... also dead. My team is a ghost, a normal, and a kid from another planet. Oh my god, how are we still alive?

10. What do you hope to accomplish by competing in this pageant?

This isn't a training school for senshi? [glares at something unseen] Hey!

11. Do you have anyone special out there cheering for you? Would you like to give them a shout out?

Shout out to my crew! You're the best! [glares at something unseen] Except you. I am very annoyed with you right now. You're the worst.

MY PEOPLE!

OUR FANDOM NEVER DIED, IT JUST GOT WANDERLUST!
(Or a kender borrowed it. That happens, you know.)

And yet their pouches hold the answers to all plotholes. And also upsetting the DM.

I've never known a well-adjusted, happy DM.

My first DM turned our chaos wizard into a spicy jalapeΓ±o dip and his dragon mount into nachos, whereupon they were immediately eaten by an elder god. Also, on my first Dragonlance campaign, he saddled me with a "Raistlin's daughter" cause I wanted to be a female red robe, but I kept rolling Raistlin's starting stats legit every time, making for one Unhappy DM. I've never EVER had to re-roll a single character's stats that many times (and I don't know how I managed to beat the statistical odds to roll the exact same start stats). xD

Of course, once we started into Spelljammer campaigns... mwahahah. It was a player versus DM shenanigan nightmare zone. Good times, good times.

You rang?

My favorite part about being a DM is my players derailing things. gives me unlimited inspiration for my comics.

Bless your heart. Our old DM is still salty about us wanting to explore a tower he mentioned, but planned nothing around. ;

I get around that by populating the entire game world with interesting things and problems to be solved, so if my players decide to actually decide to adventure , they are gonna stumble on SOMETHING i wanted them to see. With magic around, its no surprise if a tower like that just appears one or so legdays out of town and the local governance (or, if they dont care, "Blade Special Forces") will look to hired help to at least scout it out.

it also plays on the general themes of how i run my games. I am sick and tired of the RPG chosen one, so the party is actually just well trained joes, among an ocean of well trained joes. whatever the party does not resolve, either other adventurers will, or the Blade special forces will get miffed and just do the thing themselves. The party is definitely not special, and wont be heroes unless they actually WANT to help.Β

I really like her! I giggled the entire time I read her questionnaire and bio. (And yay for Gabby and Miikka have the same dream precognition! Someone they can commiserate with!)
