Description
I was editing this photo around the same time that I was studying for my 19th Century American Literature course. I was looking at these photos, and for some reason Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself" came to mind, just pieces of it mind you. This poem is so intricate. Everything Whitman wrote is. And I have to say that after this semester he has become my favorite poet. "Song of Myself" is so multi-faceted, I'm pretty sure you could draw a quote from it for any situation, whether it be social, political, personal, environmental, historical...
If anyone out there is into poetry, I strongly suggest looking into Whitman, specifically "Song of Myself". I've read that poem at least 25 times, hell I wrote my exam essay entirely on one stanza, and I STILL notice something new every time I read it.
Off on a tangent you say? NEVER!

Awesome sauce!! <3 Costume looks great!
I must go read that poem - it's nice to read things that actually have hidden meanings, as opposed to what English teachers tend to think up to pass time in curriculum material. ;D

My English class actually did a whole unit on Whitman
I really love his poems!
it sucks that he got so much crap for it while he was alive though.
And he was a bit of a creeper...but then again, all great writers seem to have SOMETHING wrong with them in some way shape or form <3
You make an awesome link, and I love your ocarina

He was XD but he's a fantastic poet nonetheless. I think the reason i like him is that he's so unpredictable in that way. I mean, he pretty much claims that he IS America, you gotta have some balls to state that TO the early American public.
and thank you!

yeah I always liked how he would make the poems almost about himself, yet not.
That man did have some balls.
I mean, he kept writing and adding to his book even when no one wanted to read it :3
props to him
and no prob

The photos are wonderful, I love how your expressions vary from photo to photo. Lazlo is an awesome photographer~!
I'm interested in poetry myself, can't write it worth a damn but I love reading a good poem every now and then.
Also the way you worked the font/writing into the picture is nicely done.
Gives me something to think about, and intricate things are one of my favorites~ So I'll definitely check it out.

If they ever do a live action Zelda movie you HAVE to play Link man. You have the perfect face for him and that wig is excellent finally someone did Link hair that actually looks like his hair from the game

I personally think pikmanlink takes the cake for perfect Link cosplay. Pikmanlink also would deserve it considering she has been cosplaying him since the 1990's
