Took me all day!Give me credit if you use this to make your own comics cause I'm literary giving you my style

If you have gimp you should have a tab named 'Layers, Undo, Paths, Gradients, Patterns, channels' if not go to 'Windows' up at the top of the gimp window (where file, edit, select, view ect... is) then click 'Layers, Undo, Paths, Gradients, Patt...' you'll now have the layers box. At the very bottom of the box there will be 6 very small icons pick the far left one (a little blank page with one folded corner) this will give you a new layer

TO PUT COLOUR IN JUST ONE SPOT GO TO The 'LAYERS' TAB SHOWN IN STEP 6. CLICK THE 'NEW LAYER' BUTTON (AT THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE 'LAYERS TAB'. IT LOOKS LIKE A SMALL BLANK PAGE.) THEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRAG IT BEHIND YOUR LINE WORK AND START COLOURING ON THE NEW LAYER, YOU CAN REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR COLOURING DIFFERENT AREAS.
