nice shot, dont see them from above too often. and this is a pretty well known bus, everyone calls it the acme bus

I've seen this splitty so many times in the south of England. I've seen at a few VW shows, aswell as on the road in Newquay. It's a gorgeous bus!

Great thing about the rat look is that you don't have to worry about where you park it, or if the paint will scratch or if it gets rusty. I really like the panel buses. The top angle is great too.

Yeah its kinda one of my main aims to own one, I love the battered look and the detail they've gone into with the customisation. Probably the best splitty i've seen.

Was it just laquered straight over bare metal or was it wierd paint? Either way I love the bodywork. The bolt on bits really work well to give the "ratty" feel.

As far as i'm aware it was just laquered over bare metal. One of my mates is doing the same to his. Hes got a white bay window camper with the herby decals on, looks wicked, and cos its covered in rust hes just going to prepare it and have it laquered to keep the rat look.

DAmn straight, I love those things. One of my best mates has got a bay window which is nice, but hopefully i'm gunna be getting a T25 off one of my other mates next summer, if I can persuade him to part with it. The engines are a hell of a lot more reliable!!!
