Thank you! I didnt think there was an ending, though(not for the anime anyway). From what I've gathered only three episodes were ever made. And they cover all the way through the first three and part of the fourth manga book. Kinda sucks that they didnt made more.

Actually no. I'm pretty much relying on whatever Waldenbooks and/or Suncoast has in stock, so I've only read up to Volume 4. Volume 5 should be out by now, but I have yet to see it anywhere? Just how far have you read?

There are... I think 20 volumes altogether. Or 21... not sure. But since you've seen up to 5 in the stores, I'm gonna have to look again because I have yet to read that one. Yep.. gotta be my favorite manga just because of the.. drama, would you say? It's got a lot of heart... guess that's why I liked Wolf's Rain, too. ^_^Gotta like the drama.

20 volumes??!! Gah, I will never get them all. oh well. They are extremely excellent, aren't they? So moody. Poor Setsuna...he seems to have pretty crappy luck, doesn't he? Sara + Setsuna 4ever!!! Would you reccomend Wolf's Rain? I've seen it in stores, and it does look very good...as long as it has complicated romantic issues. I love a good shojo manga. So what's it about?

It's.... one of those science fictiony.... like... other worldly... type.... OMG HARD TO EXPLAIN. But in any case, I would recommend the anime, definitely. They only recently started with the manga and it's somewhat different than the anime in ways. I've seen the entire series and I loved it. Not much for romance... more like... dramatic and... *sigh* damn...
Umm... Well there are a few cannon pairings I can say that. But the story basically surrounds this group of wolves who are in searh of a place called paradise. It's in a world where humans think that wolves had died out hundreds of years ago. But they didnt. Wolves have a human guise and are able to walk among humans without being seen for what they really are.
I'm not really sure what got me into it... I'd clasify it as shojo though, despite alot of action that it might contain.
ANd don't worry... I'm poor too. *sigh* I need a job... and a car... and a license... ^_^ahehe, yeah. Off topic. But yea... watch it. It's good... Ever seen Witch Hunter Robin? I got the entire series on DVD for christmas.

You're so lucky to have gotten it for x-mas!! I've just been watching it on TV. It's at the episode after the infamous "almost kiss" scene between amon and robin. I knew amon wasn't evil. Just incredibly angsty. It was supposed to be aired on Christmas eve, but NO, they just had to go and show bloody rudolph instead. Bah humbug.
anywho, yes, I most definitely love that show.

I've been reading up on Yu Watase lately and have been meaning to read some of the manga he/she(I'm stupid)'s written. Mostly Fushigi Yuugi, it looks really good. Ayashi no Ceres looks good, too. But sadly, as you know, I am also lacking in many things. Money being one of them... poor..poor people.

Sadly, I have only read book 6 in the fushigi yugi series...it was extremely confusing, as you might imagine...but Ceres is INCREDIBLE!!!! It's one of my faves, for sure. Sorta like angel sanctuary, it has angels (celestial beings, whatever you wanna call 'em), reincarntaion, love triangles, humor, death, gore, drama (x10000)...what else could anyone want??! I would highly reccommend it, if you can somehow get your hands on it.
Fushigi Yugi also looks awesome, and my public library has them on order (YAY) so I'm just waiting for them to come in. It's super popular. But I can't imagine how anything could beat Ceres...Alice the 19th is also quite good, but a lot lighter than ceres.
The amazing Yu Watase is a girl. (of course) ^_^

I subscribed to Animerica a few months ago and it's very informative.. my favorite magazine. That's how I started reading Land of the Blindfolded. I'd reccommend that, too. Tsukuba Sakura's style is beautiful. It's about this girl who can see the future when she touches someone. She meets this guy who can see the past. It's basically just a Highschool love story with a twist, but I fell in love with it, even though there's only one volume out right now.

Yes, my library carries manga!! isn't it wonderful?? Of course, who ever they have choosing the stuff has weird taste...I mean, Steam Detectives?? WTF is up with that? But it does have about 20 volumes of Ranma 1/2 (I love it, it's absolutely hilarious). God bless you, Rumiko Takahashi.

Oooh, you've subscribed to Animerica?? Is it good? I have some Anime Insider magazines and they're quite good. But it's really depressing, cause all it talks about are all the wonderful anime shows the cartoon network is airing in the U.S. So unfair!! Why doesn't Canada have all that anime??? We have 4 or 5 on TV. Tops. It's pathetic.

Land of the Blindfolded is like... brand new. And yes, Animerica is really great. It doesn't just talk about all the crappishly dubbed stuff they have on Adult Swim or Cartoon Network. Of course... the crappy dubbing doesnt stop me from watching it anyway.

I am also a major hypocrite when it comes to dubbed anime. I'm like, "feh, this dubbed stuff is total crap." But if I were to miss a single episode?? All hell would break loose.
I am so happy!!! There's 3 hours of anime showing tonight!!! Double episodes of Gundam Seed, Inuyasha, and Witch Hunter Robin. Hallelujah. That's my kinda new year's party.

How fun! Wish I could watch anime.... oh yea!! I can! Well, the Witch Hunter Robin part anyway. There isn't a station here that plays anime on Fridays. But maybe I can pop in one of the Inuyasha movies... that could be fun. Otherwise I'm bored... And I'm not about to watch a ball drop in Time Square on TV... just seems rather trivial and pointless...
It's more like... "Oh, look... It's midnight..." *turns to random person* "Happy new year." *walks away* Instead of, "OMFG, We made it ALL the way around the friggin' sun!!! AGAIN!!!"
I really need to buy the english versions of those Inuyasha movies though. All I've got are my Japanese version eBay purchases. All three with only mediocre translations... I hate subtitles... So, have you seen any of the movies?

You've seen the 3rd Inuyasha movie??!! Do tell. The most I've seen of that on is the Japanese commercial thingie on the website.
I myself have seen 1 and 2, and I own the 1st one. In english (but you can also set it to japanese). I truly love it. I hear that the 2nd Inuyasha movie is coming out here on the 25th, which I will most definitely buy. It's just so sweet! ^^ I loved it when Kagome threw herself in front of the arrow that evil chick bounced back at her that was heading for Inuyasha. And Inuyasha was enraged. And then there's the first kiss scene, of course. Sigh.
I've gotta find myself a well in an ancient shrine that will transport me to the past to fall in love with a half-demon. Except in my case, it would transport me back to feudal...Canada? Oh no, look out for those demonic fur traders!! Aieee!! A wild moose on the rampage!! LOL Plus, I wouldn't be able to wear a cute but embarassingly short school uniform, because I would get major frostbite and my legs would fall off. It'd be a lot harder to get a love interest.
So anywho, if you don't have a station that plays anime where you live, how much have you seen of the Inuyasha series?

Wow, you're on episode 78? So you DO get anime!! Jolly good. I think you've seen more than I have...the last inuyasha episode I saw had some weirdo incarnate of Naraku's who kept ripping people's faces off and desired Kagome...?? God, the episodes take forever to come out!! I only see a new one once a week. What other shows do you get on the wonderful cartoon network? (hey, it's way better for anime than the crappy YTV station I'm stuck with).

I felt the EXACT same way about the movie title. "A Love that Transcends Time" is so lovely and poetic, I have no clue why they changed it!! "Affections touching across time"???? Could it be anymore akward??? Were they afraid to let viewers know that there was ROMANCE in it???? If they watch Inuyasha, I think they've figured out there's some shojo elements going on. Jeez. I just....ugh.

No probs! Ya, I do remember seeing that episode. The incarnation of Naraku was Mouso, Onigumo's heart... or something. I desired Kagome because she looked so much like Kikyo.
Sorry, you're stuck with such a crappy station. Cartoon Network mostly just has dumb stuff for like... you know, kids up to 11 or 12 on it. It's got a nighttime lineup called Adult Swim, though, which I LOVE the network for. They air anime every night of the week except Friday... no idea why they did that. The other shows they've shown were stuff like Inuyasha(still on-going), Wolf's Rain(the series is over already), Fullmetal Alchemist(new episode every saturday!), Trigun, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Cowboy Bebop(series ended a while ago, but it's an awesome show!), Witch Hunter Robin, of course... among other things that aren't on anymore...
The third movie was AWESOME! I love gore, too! Heh... you may be able to tell from a few choice fanfictions I've written. Actually, the one I've been putting alot into lately is an A/U Fic, but in my own opinion, and I'm not being self centered here, but... my plot line is AWESOME! Modern setting, yes. And it's mostly romance... but hey, that's what I love about it! Gore and romance - it's what makes a good story! But I plan on putting alot of real-world aspects into it - you know, like date-rape, violence in society, homelessness. It'll all turn out well in the end though.^_^
If anything, I can give you my cannon pairings: Inuyasha/Kagome Miroku/Sango Sesshoumaru/Sara Sesshoumaru/Kagura... may be others, not sure.
Oh, and I actually made Rin Sesshoumaru's daughter in this. It turned out cuter than I thought. In case you're wondering about Sess being in two different relationships there, Sara died, remember. If you've never heard of it, Sara is actually a minor character in one of the later episodes^_^ And yes.. I am a Sess/Kagu fan! So sure me!
Anyway, you know about the third sword, right? Souunga? Well, the sword was in Kagome's time because 200 years earlier in the faudal era, after Inuyasha's father died, it was thrown down the well. I can't tell you much detail on that area because my DVD was very, VERY horribly translated. They even got some of the names wrong! Anyway, it eventually finds Inuyasha and he has no choice but to grab hold of the hilt of the sword. After doing that, now this was kinda gross, but some kinda weird... tangly vein-looking things wrap and dig into his arm. Therefor.. well the sword was stuck there.
He started to go full demon, etc, goes back down the well(Kagome actually screamed at the top of her lungs, "INUYASHA NO BAKA!!!" after he left!) When he eventually gets to Kaede's village he first kills a bunch of chickens. Sango and Miroku show up wondering what he's doing. Then he starts to go after this small family and he corners them in a hut. The sword is talking to him and telling him to kill them, but he can't. Miroku is in the doorway yelling at him to control himself. In this scene the screen actually goes black after blood splatters on the woman's face. When the screen comes back to Inuyasha, he had actually bitten into his own arm to stop himself. He then tells Miroku to get the people out of the hut, at which point he's still fighting for control and physically starts throwing himself against the wall(which, of course, breaks it). Honestly, that was my favorite scene in the whole movie! You'd really have to see it to get the full intensity of it.
Then there was the scene near the end after they had rid themselves of Souunga. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru's father appears in a flame of blue fire. You can get a pretty good look at him at this point. He tells both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru that he's proud of his sons... or something to that effect, I can't remember exactly what he says.
But I shant go on... it would be too much for me to type and too much for you to read, but there are alot of really great summaries out there. Even try the site I gave you before, ear-tweak.com.

Your story sounds really good!! Minus the date rape. I think that people take that way too lightly, and make it offensive more often than not. I've never yet read a fanfic where an author has succcessfully handled the issue. Rozefire (has an account both here and fanfiction.net. She's my fanficcy hero) did a story on domestic abuse that I thought was spectacular, but she didn't go into rape. Anywho, that's just me. I'm a major feminist, so I'm sensitive to that stuff.
I like how you made Rin Sesshomaru's daughter!! That's a great idea. It more accurately portrays their relationship, I think, than making them a couple. (ew...pedophelia) You'll have to post it up asap. ^_^ I will read it right away!!

And yeah, Rozefire's gotta be one of my favorite fanfic authors. Amazing work, that one. Which fic was it that you were talking about now? I gotta read it.
But yea, I was never really going to have an occurance of rape in there. More like drug abuse. Hell, I could never write a rape scene! I've never even written a lemon for crying out loud! For some reason, I find it difficult... not that I've TRIED. But I guess I just meant that I don't plan on taking the issues quite as lightly as alot of writers do in fanfiction.
And yeah, I kind of liked the idea of Sessho being a father. The guy starts out pretty messed up in the beginning of the story though. Poor guy's grief stricken. Chapter one actually begins with him. So yea.... THAT is a bad habit I have. I always tell people like the whole story before they can even read it.
But yea. Recently I wrote up part of it and deleted it on accident.... dammit.. Don't you hate it when that happens?

The story I was talking about was "father figure". But I also love "28 days" and "dead famous". Actually, I love all her stuff. I've stopped myself from reading her unfinished fics becuase it would drive me crazy waiting for updates. Rozefire is just unbelievable...how can she be such a good artist and writer both???!!! Man, when God was handing out talents, I think I got gypped.
Your story sounds so good!!! Yeah, it's hard to write tasteful lemon scenes, and for the most part, I think it just takes away from the fanfic. I'm sure you could do it if you wanted to, but why would you really want to? Anywho, just post the damn thing already!! ^_^No clue who that is. I rather like yours though. My old one was just another version of the one I have now... it just showed more of her face and shoulders, and part of Setsuna's face, too. But it comtained so much it was kind of hard to tell what it was, so I zoomed in a little. Sara's a cute character anyways^^ She really shows her devoted side in the later volumes of the manga... which I... haven't read yet... BUT STILL...

^_^I guess you couldn't really be ale to define him as a "good guy" or a "bad guy." He's just Kira. But he's one of the characters that Kaori Yuki gives more detail on his past. But if you didn't really know, his true form is actually Alexial's Seven bladed sword. ...Well... kind of unexpected... to me anyway.
