Yeah, this is what happens when I try to study math. Not even close.So this is Haku. From Naruto. Whom I love. But who looks like crap so far. Whatever. I've only done the bg, headband, and the face.
Thoughts on the background...? Does the tree in the corner look too awkward?

I think the problem is that it started out as a cell-shaded nose and then I got carried away and tried to make it all 3d. Bah.

Well...I'm thinking here, that it looks like one of those weasel-y type noses. It kinda looks like a beak, too...anyways, I think you should lighten up the shadow on the right, and make it less pointy, because it looks beaky.
