Description
I saw the old 1954 film of 20,000 leagues under the sea and loved it... I decided I had to do a drawing of the amazing Nautilus.The background may look weird with the two types of blue but the photo used for reference was like that.

That film was one of those films I'd known and heard about for ages, yet only gotten around to watching a long time later. And I loved it. Mysterious Island was good too; and I also liked the seperately released Captain Nemo and the Underwater City.

I think probably cashing in on the big film and the somewhat-of-a-sequel Mysterious Island, Captin Nemo and the Underwater City was a british in 1969 not long afterwards. It was made separately from the others, and a different model is used for the Nautilus, and the storyline isn't linked to the other two, though in my opinion the film was good and kept most of the charm of the original.
