Description otherwise known as the bends.
songs been stuck in my head for days... best radiohead song ever.... but only the live version.. why?.. I do not know.

I've been really into somewhat abstracted art lately.... I think this is a product of that... I can't get myself to draw anything realistic anymore that takes more then about 15 minutes. and yet I'll spend like.. two days colouring in pencil crayon and drawing dotted lines... I don't get it.

anyway.. back to the point.. I don't think there is one..
I'm not sure if this seems finished to me yet. oringinally it was supposed to have newspaper clipping quotes.. I found in this gardening article.. they were interesting.. (really they were)
but I can no longer find them..

AND!
credits to [link] for the reference and cutouts.

mechanical pencil
pencil crayon
cut and paste
NO DIGITAL ADDITIVES!!

yep ok I'm done
I would really appreciate comments on this.. mainly cause it's really not like alot of what I generally do with my artwork.. and I would like your input kids.

interesting use of bathroom tiles (those blocks look to be the type) and actual pencil/ink/pencil crayon...still a very dominant blue and red scheme in the background... the person's pencil-based medium really sets it apart and gives a strong dominance to it's presense. For some reason it reminds me of the decomposition of bright thoughts... things that seem great in one's eyes but is nothing in another... sorry if I'm a bit blunderous with descriptions... perhaps hearing the song would evoke the same emotions it takes to produce such a picture...

the additives of gardening magazine articles would've been truly interesting to this pic... and helpful to all those future gardeners out there! how to tend dying tullips and mend bulbs that never sprout... lol... enspiring articles for such a piece of work.

the song I suppose is sorta about a static lifestyle, like a pre-midlife crises I guess.. not knowing where your going, who your friends are... that sort of thing

"I need to wash myself again to hide all the dirt and pain
I'd be scared that there's nothing underneath
And who are my real friends?
Have they all got the bends?
Am I really sinking this low?"

I wanted to put in the gardening quotes.. because they talked about cycles of plants... and I wanted to compare their cycles, with the cycles of this person.. their moving, but not really going anywhere...there's somewhat of a doldrum to it.. with the same thing happening over and over.

anyways.. out of art analysis mode..
thankyou for the comment ^.^''
