Scene commission for MoonliqhtRose and her friend RainbowGlaze123 <3 It was really sweet to draw this for you buds, hope everything looks alright! I downloaded a water brush to finish this lol, I forgot I lost mine when I moved computers. I had more of a photograph mixed in on the original, but it made it look really odd and flat, so I hope the painted ocean does its justice xDRelated content

WHAT THE WHAT- WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN!!!!! This is so stunning, ;v; The aesthetic feel of the background in tandem to the realistic expressions really promotes the mood of the art!!! (If I wasn't in the middle of a tennis camp I would type more) I can't even put I to words how gorgeous this looks! Arianna's face omg. Rain and Toralu look like they are having so much fun and she looks so PRETTY!! UWU I honestly squealed (and scared the daylights out of half my friends) when I saw this! Your art is amazingly beautiful 😍 I admire the amounts nt of lighting and shading you add; the right amount off lighting to give you an idea of the sun and just enough shading for depth without losing its sense of fun. I can't thank you enough! <33 And MOONLIQHT, WHAT!!! I was not expecting this, it honestly made my day! Thanks so much my girl! Eeeeee, so happy to have friends like u ;v; Totally looks adorable

Alright! Time to write an article about how amazingly beautiful this is omg.
Their expressions, it's just incredible. Especially Aiyana's ... troubles, with the water XDD And it's just amazing how you gave them each dynamic poses, like Rain holding a shovel, and Toralu pushing sand to the sandcastle.
And don't get me started on the atmosphere!! It gives me such a heartwarming feeling >w< (honestly, this is the first commission I've received with unique lighting such as this. Usually, I get pure daytime or midnight scene!). Yet, you managed to keep a comical air to it.
And I haven't even mentioned just the shading + lighting in this piece!! (Normally people's shading is outstanding. Yours is just phenomenal).
You've captured their personalities perfectly. That's EXACTLY how Aiyana would look (and you know what's amazing? That's how I imagined her expression to be XD).
Z, this is just absolutely stunning. I can't possibly thank you enough <3 I literally have been sitting here for the past 5 minutes, wondering why my vocabulary isn't bigger haha (no words in my knowledge can truly sum up this drawing). Honestly, even though you raised your prices... it's too underpriced x'D. I would gladly pay hundreds of dollars for something like this. It's so rare for me to get a commission, or even see art, that conveys this much emotion and feeling. (I'm like, tearing up right now haha)
I might even say that you're better than some professional artist. Sure, they might render their images to their fullest potential. But they're normally just figures for me. I don't feel (hmm, what's the word), connected to the characters, as I do with this one.
You're literally the first I'd recommend if someone asked who to commission - no doubt about it. And, I myself would definitely recommission you again soon.

WAA I DIDN'T EVEN MENTION THE WATER. OR THE BACKGROUND (asdghjkl; ). Ok, teach me how to draw water XDD I just can't believe that this water, that actually looks like water... are just a few brush strokes?? (I'm starting to think I put too much effort in making all my lines perfect)

The comments about my prices really lifts my spirits, and it means millions that you put me up there with the professional artists xP That's where I'm trying to get! But I have to probably get about 500 followers to start pricing hundreds for my work XDD I'm content bringing peoples ideas to life where I am right now though, and I appreciate your thoughtfulness so much though <3
As for the background well thank youuuuu?? I actually need to put more effort into them x'D I havent found a favorite way to blend colors into a painterly style, so I just pray my sketch aesthetic pays off pfftt

Aa yeah, and I think the majority of your audience can't pay in hundreds unfortunately >n< (that moment where you're rooting for the person to raise their prices... but they just can't x'D). At least don't let people try to make the price lower for themselves >: ( But then again, what do I know. I'm a young teen pfft
People who enjoy bringing ideas to life make me feel... satisfied? XD idk, it's comforting to know that there are people in the world who can take just ideas, and create something beautiful physically. (I wish I had that skill haha).
aaa just think how even more amazing your backgrounds will be after just a few more drawings :000 (I have a teacher that gives anybody extra credit on their projects if they make good backgrounds. You'd definitely get that extra credit haha)
Actually, I have another commission in mind for you, later :0 (mainly because I just got a bigger commission and want to give Paypal a rest before using it once more XD) But it includes a more complicated nature background ;v; (oof, hopefully you don't mind that ahaha). (I'm always so worried that I'm asking too much of the artist. Many tell me that they like complicated commissions, and I'm always like "but your sanity... >.<"). In short, it's probably going to be a forest scene with 1-2 of my characters lol.

but aaahh well im so glad it makes you happy hahah! it makes me happy to create these things so im glad it pays off hahaha! those are really sweet words. and yeahh im working on drawing more scenes. its crazy how much you observe the world, yet get stumped when trying to mirror it on paper.
ALSO yes that makes me so exciteddd! ^^ don't worry, with drawing class this semester at college, it's really pushed me outside my comfort zone and i actually very much enjoy complicated or challenging ideas. :> if theres a limit i hit, ill tell you of course. my only thing that makes me say "errr" is... I know chibis are cute and cheaper, but that style is not what im striving for (or have been trying to reach for the past 5 years of drawing haha), it's more there because everyone tends to love it more, but it forces me to downscale my skills a bit. im not sure if youd be interested in my original style, but its a lot more comfortable and makes more sense to draw outside of basic chibi pagedolls. just something to warn you of if you do end up commissioning me again! ;;

this is unbelievably stunning?? the amount of detail in this in just shocking, i'm actually in awe right now *o* you did an especially amazing job with the sand and the water. oH and let's not forget to talk about tHE EXPRESSIONS?? they couldn't be more perfect, i absolutely adore how much emotion is being displayed, you can tell exactly how the characters are feeling in this scene
