It is designed by the young Chiyo as a symbol of her vanity. She is not a very attractive woman (Even in her youth) so she creates attractive puppets. Aimi looks up to her master Chiyo and these puppets, so she emulates the stripperific clothing of her master's puppet alter-ego.
