Oh it is always a great thrill when you meet a young child and they are completely astounded to see you. They stand there, eyes wide, and mouth agape, and then they begin to hop and down and squeal with happy laughter. It's probably only one out of a hundred that do this, and it's precious and rare.Related content

I may be talking to the choir... but if you run across the child who's scared of you-- kneel down, open your arms wide and stay calm. This usually does the trick for the little ones who are nervous and/or shy. If they still won't come over to you-- don't go over to them. Just give them time. This was the trick taught to us during my time at DizzyWorld.
