Sometimes as a public fursuiter / freelance mascot, (and it's happened only a pawful of times), I will connect with a young child and for a few hours "become" their adopted pet and best pal. It's mutually adorable, and Kori here was first-class fun. We sang, played, and even did Karate kicks together. He was all set to adopt Tycho Aussie and pleaded with mom - and then, once the party was over, asked me if I could get him a dog suit just like mine so he could be like me and Grahmsie.Grahmsie is his grandmother Janet, the lady I was there to entertain, and it was her special 75th birthday party. She has spent her life entertaining people as a clown and a as a teddybear and occasionally as a gorilla. It was a chance for me to give back to her for her years of service.

I LOVE it when kids play with you. It makes me feel so good inside. I really do enjoy how you work with kids and just COMPLETELY brighten up their mood with a costume! One day, I want to be able to help you do what you do, so I can hopefully inspire others to be able to loosen up and just have some fun!

It is indeed very, very rewarding and heartwarming. When we finish an event, I feel so peaceful & content with the world. I'm not sure that loosening up is exactly what we need - rather instead we need to be disciplined enough to sacrifice a bit of our time, talent and treasure for the sake of our community. We need to engage one another, value and respect one another and have open and compassionate hearts. We must be willing to serve in small ways by making our villages, towns, and cities brighter, happier places. It just so happens that it can be accomplished by 'just having some fun' sometimes, like this. Other times, by cleaning up a shabby street corner and watering the flowers near the bus stop. All are little, but critical things.
I hope you have fun too - and hope you can help us make this a better world. The time of my youth was the 1980's so at this point I can only inspire - but you: You have the time to really change the world.

Your words, are indeed, inspirational. Yes, I'm only a 13 year old and I want to have a good start in heloung making the world a better place so that the kids in the future will not have to live in such darkness later.
It is true, every little bit counts, adds up, matters.
A small change makes a big difference. I will try my hardest to help you and many others, make our communities a better and healthier place to live.
