Finally. I finally fucking figured out Rue's body type, JFC I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO FREAKING DRAW HER.But I finally got to draw my bby and as you can see, she's gone through quite a few changes. She's gonna be a little shorter, but still taller than a standard Ruby, and her hair is still going to be long and in a braid, but it's going to be HELLA POOFY, mainly because I wanted her to have SOME similar traits that a normal Ruby has, such as the poofy ass hair XD. So don't undo her braid lest you be consumed by a giant Afro hair monster. She's also got a slight gap in her teeth now and she looks hella cute now with it, and it looks more...like how Rue should? I guess? Either way, I think it suits her. (I don't know what it is with me and having my characters have tooth gaps, I don't know, the aesthetic of it just appears cute and appealing to me for some reason. 8U)And she only has one star streak instead of two on her face. Same goes for Kyanite, but her streak is on the right side of her face. But other than that, she's pretty much the same, and her hair still catches on fire when she's mad or emotional, and she still has her geode abilities, AND HER GEM IS STILL CRACKED, THAT HAS NOT CHANGED. And I decided I wanted to practice with a long distance model of sorts and also different poses? I got the inspiration for the pose on the right from some of kilala97's SU sketch dumps and poses and tried to make Rue look simpler. And this is also how Rue would stretch after punching/digging several miles of underground tunnels. That's a hobby of hers. Lol
I'll color and make it all pretty later, but right now, just enjoy my lil Rue Bug in all her cute glory. XD
