Description A young Lucifer, following several years of rigid training with Sammael, finally earns his place among the Meshedi, the order of warrior-class angels founded by Sammael himself. The archangel Michael along with several Meshedi warriors watch with interest as Sammael officially inducts Lucifer into the order. Scene from my writing/art project.

If memory serves, the Meshedi were something akin to elite soldiers or the king's soldiers in Sumerian or Hittite culture. Maybe it was the Akkadians...I'm too lazy to look it up right now, but I loved the name and the role they played. Seemed like the perfect inspiration I was needing for Sammael to create an aggressive order which would act as fierce protectors of Michael and the Just Ones in my project. I decided to try a panoramic view in Daz Studio since the widescreen ratio was too tight for the scene I was wanting to do. I'm quite happy with how it turned out although I was wanting more angels in the background. But I had to take them out...they couldn't be seen! Daz Studio-Iray/Photoshop. Thank you for looking and enjoy.

I love this image very much! Very epic. This one is also on DAZ gallery, isn't it. When I saw it for the first time, I was wondering what computer you use. This kind of scenes is not possible on my computer. To much memory consuming and far too long to render. I estimate, a scene like this has to render more the 48 hours on my computer. Nevertheless, this is the kind of scenes I would like to make.

Yeah, this is in the Daz galleries. With what you've artistically done Achillias, I'm wondering if that's untrue in regards to your computer specs. My graphics card is only 4GB so I have to plan accordingly. Because I set almost all foreground characters to SubD2 I quickly run out of space. What I typically do is break a scene down into foreground/middleground/background sections. I take advantage of the Spot Render Tool and hide areas and spot render parts at a time and composite them in Photoshop. Typically the spot rendering goes super fast. If I can get background and middle ground areas rendered at once, then I can render the foreground all in one. Sometimes a scene jumps to CPU rendering but these rarely take more than 12-18 hours to render. I never have ANY render (GPU or CPU) take less than two hours. I render quite large so things are going to take some time. I've had renders go for several days though. But I've learned a lot (hiding areas/spot rendering) so I haven't ran into that in months.
