Description
Started out as a quick nebula paint for practice. I really like the way it was looking so I turned it into a full blown work of art.Related content

I don't know about anyone else but I completely see a goat/ram's head forming in those clouds.

I used a couple pictures of some hurricans and then brought it in to 3ds max and did my best to make it look the way I wanted. Then used the magic of Photoshop to fix all the problems.

This is the kind of picture I keep trying to produce but it never looks this good. I'd love it if you could provide a some tips, techniques or full blown tutorial.

oh wow, those nebulae are fantastic. So subtle yet vivid; almost perfect. I love the depth they have.
I could do without a lot of those stars though, they seem very stamped on, if you know what I mean by that. I also don't really like the composition that much either. The nebula seem to evenly spaced apart and placed.
And I've never been good with this, so I'm probably just BSing this, but the left and middle nebula's central stars seem to be competing for dominance with my eyes in the picture. Like, every time I try to make out the details of one my eyes dart over to the other star. Again, I have no experience with focal points or whatever this scenario would be.
Super fantastic nebulae though, very nicely painted

I've been here for 3 years, but I've never had something COMPLETELY eye-pleasing. I look at this and my eyes literally relax completely. Gorgeous.

You're most certainly welcome.
Simplicity is the best for of art. Especially in Spacescape.
Better to be nice and simple instead of clustered and overdone.
