This is amazing! It reminds me of so many things to do with Comics or Animes and it's just beautiful to look at :3 It's something for the imagination too. Like clouds you can see something in it that's inspiring to artists. I have never done one of these before but I hope it really helps and makes sense... >.< I also think that it is beautiful. Space should be appreciated more and I have this thing inside me that says if one day every year we should turn all the lights out and then look up and Draw what we see..... Enough of my thoughts...
Summary: It is just amazing!

This is what I'd call a perfect example of mechanical art.
This shouldn't be construed as a negative remark. I don't like the color red, but the color red never complains if you get my drift.
My problem is that it is a utilization of tremendous skill in order to produce something that is much more functional than artistic. The difference between a beautifully crafted silver spoon and a sculpture. The spoon's purpose serves with primacy rather than its craftsmanship.
To be clear, originality is a metric that is based upon depth and vision is a metric based upon breadth; one might say that the originality of it is in its usage of colors, or perhaps even the composition: that the stars are aligned in a new way. But to me, originality is a metric to be determined by whether or not the whole package is individual rather than the constituents. And vision, being a measure of breadth, to me is a metric to be valued by the art's comprehensiveness and significance. For example, realism rarely possesses vision except in the case of things that are alive, like humans, because humans are dynamic and can be thus contorted, reassessed or even altered to mimic a real state; if I were to look at some of Joseph Ducreaux's portraits, you'd see a facial expression that does not exist in nature but expresses a very real mental state. That is how life is dynamic. Conversely, with things like space, the subject is static and via realism entirely lacks vision.
I like it, and the organic tones are delightful. No vision, even less originality. Beautiful technique.

I thank you for taking the time to write this critique. I don't quite understand half of what your talking about. This doesn't seem to be a critique on my piece as you offered one line of relavant information. A critique should address the picture in question and not rant about what creativity or realism is. But I thank you for your time.

Oooh a real critique! Never written one like this yet. For a nebula somewhere in the galaxy I'd say this is spot on. Until I really zoomed in, I would have thought it was a Hubble photo. Don't really know what else to say, but WOW! I gave it 4 stars on originality only because, its a nebula...which doesn't seem original, or that hard to paint, until you try. Hmmm, actually, that's not fair. I'm upping it all to 5 stars. I'm trying to find a bad thing to say about it, and I can't. Great job on this painting! Outstanding

Hi, I'm making a design for a thing here in deviantart and I need a photo to put in the top of the page, I think that this one is perfect. If you allow me to use it I would love to and of course I'll give you credit by putting your name and the link to your devinatart under the image.
In this link there is a preview of the design but instead of using that image I would like to use yours (ignore the content, it was a test) :sta.sh/0wjcup9hhii
by the way love your art, happy new year and thanks

Actually I just slapped together several failed nebulas into one piece. I litteraly put almost no effort into this at all compared to my others. Go figure this is my most popular.
