Description
I'm working on this not-so-little tank as a fun project, It's still being developed, I hope to finish and skin it in my free time this month. Comments and suggestions welcome and encouraged. ^^P.S.- This is a mammoth tank from the "Command and Conquer" series of videogames. This is based on the Soviet version from "Red Alert".

Well done, the mesh is clean. What is the poly/face count?
What software are you using?

Thanks!
The polycount was around 150000, and I used 3D Studio Max 7 at the time I made this. I'll probrably re-do it one day, as, looking back, I can see a lot of things I need to change.

Yes. I've been meaning to get my hands on the latest build. Although I have a sneaky suspicion that Max and Maya will eventually merge, seeing as how they're already owned by the same company, and have many of the same features.

Thanks for the comments, guys!
It's originally from CNC1 and Red alert
In red alert 2, it was redesigned and dubbed the "Apocolypse tank".

Update: started skinning. I'd post a render, but it takes around ten minutes to generate.

Thanks ^^
It's a light-traced skylight, and the tank is on a very large white plane. Renegade was a good game, but it's graphics were below par for the date it was released. It's actually a shame, it could've been so much more.
Heh, I'm making the kirov as I type this.

frikken sweet! although when i saw the thumbnail version i thought it was the mammoth tank for the GDI in Command & Conquer Renegade. (BTW very good FPS for a company famous for its RTSs) i'm a 3D artist myself and i was wondering how you got that lighting effect? Mental Ray occlusion? or light traced Skylight?

Pretty Nice! Good Destribution of polys. And respect 4 the theme. Used to drive that in C&C Renegade.
